Yeah, i wouldn't want to short one, that is for sure:)

Personally, i love the new flat top protected AW 18650 battery 2600mah. It has a higher then normal discharge rate compared to regular AW 18650 so it has more then enough power for LR atomizers, plus it has an outstanding 2600mah. My mom is vaping her prototype Precise 18650 as we speak with that battery in it:)

do these come pre- charged?
i just plugged it into the (wf139) charger and the charging light turned from red to green in about 10 minutes.

i know i can just test the batts but my tester is at home and i'm not.

thanks for the help
ok weird thing. the charger has 2 indicator lights. one for each battery
but i did a little "wiggle/adjustment" and can get the light to go from green to red (flashing) but it is on the opposite side. ie: if i put the battery in on the right side the light on the left side goes red and vice versa.

i noticed that the first time i plugged it in it was responding on the correct side.

thing is the charger fell onto the (rug) floor from table height 2ft

you think it is damaged? :(

What about madvapes Ultrafire 18650 3.7volt @ 3000mah protected and their cr123a's? Are there any in-depth comparison reviews of Ultra-fire versus AW's? Personal experience with both?

All reports I've seen indicate that that Ultrafire 3000mAh battery are way over rated and are in reallity more like a 2400mAh battery..

heres a pretty good thread that compares 18650 batteries:

me I'd stick with the AW 2600mAh battery that david keeps linking..
