I wanted to wait awhile before I said hit it! For me it is good on its own, but mixed with GCD and Frenilla it is great! I am not sure I will use this straight up, but in the blend, it will always have a spot on my rotation. I have never had any other apple pie so I can't compare but although it won't make my top 5 from NT, I still like it!
Me, too, this. Pleasant but underwhelming at first. Still, had a whole tank full to get through, so I added a splash of my Doodle, which has been mixed with GCD, and another of Frenilla. Better, but not there yet. Back in the steeper for a while.

Steep Time: Straight out of the limited edition black envelope.

Nic level: 6 mg

Atty; Various

Firing device: Various

Thoughts/ Tasting notes: Various

This one has been an enigma for me! I tend to build to the juice. With that being said, I loaded my tasting device ( iTaste V3 topped with a non AFC Cyclone) and took it for a spin. This device has been a great measuring unit to determine my builds. Its built with a single coil to 1.2 ohms and the vv/vw feature is great for this purpose.

O.K, First pull. Oh yeah, fresh apple with a little crust lying in the back ground. I cranked up the heat and found a little more crust.
So I decided to load my Stillare built to with duals @ 0.5 ohms and CC and let it rip. Wait! What? The apple was there but I got this really strange kind of plastic like after taste. Wait again, that couldn't of been right so I loaded it a few more times and bleh! Where did that first pull flavor go? At this point, I started to chase the flavor that I knew was in there. I tossed various builds at this one, Higher ohm's, lower ohms, a Pro tank, loaded it in my DID, different rda's, but didn't go to a Kayfun or Russian as I wanted to figure this one out before committing a tank to this. I started thinking "could it be the wick?", so I changed out to Koh Gen Do and then the flavor started to come around. So then I got another idea and loaded the MicroStick/ Aiolos using wool filler and wicking with ecowool built to 1.2 ohms. Wow, there it was! Fresh Apple Pie with the crust in all of its glory. I was so happy, I kept pulling on it until the battery almost died! So after this, I decided to build a KFL+ and give it a go. Built it to 1.1 ohms with 26g and a 3.0 mm coil. Wicked it up with KGD and placed the KF on Gus22. BAM! there it was in all of its glory! Oh yeah, sweet success! However, I am in no way done with this one yet as I know she is a little immature and will benefit well from a good steep. This is another amazing juice when it is hit just right and I can not wait to see where she lands.

When Clark says "Taste is subjective" the man is just not whistling Dixie. He knows what he is talking about!

On another note, I just placed an order for a Hanna / Magma and this is going to be the first juice loaded during the shake down cruise.

This story will undoubtedly continue! Vape on! "Big John"

Love this review. I think some people read a review or two and think "wow, they love it, I will love it too" without taking into consideration that any single individual may have to try a dozen different hardware configurations to get that "over the moon" experience. Some of the liquid is more forgiving for some (I can put GCD in just about anything and enjoy it). The Virus, my favorite liquid, is good... but in my black "Virus seasoned" REO - OMG.

This has got to be one of the best reviews I've ever read!

distortoblotto your details on the various builds and your search for the flavor was outstanding. This should be a baseline for every review.

Thank!

I have been passing up on a lot of the SR's lately because they were either not something I was interested in, or they were fruits and I have so many of those I am beginning to get tired of them. So, I took a chance on this one, figuring it would go to a good home if it did not hit for me.

Steep time: FOOB

Nic Level: 6mg

Tank/Atomizer: KFL+ v2, 1.2Ohm coil, 28g Kanthal; 5/64 drill bit with cotton, same with KGD and a different coil at 1.3 Ohms wrapped around 2mm ReadyXwick
TOBH dripper 0.8Ohm coil wrapped around 2mm ReadyXwick

Mod: mechanical, Copper Nemesis with the TOBH dripper and Chi You with the KFL+

Thoughts/Tasting Notes: The fruit is more pronounced (I get a slight hint of something other than apple, reminds me of Gravity and Refresh) in the dripper with a subtle suggestion of crust, cinnamon and crust on the exhale in the dripper.
In the KFL, it all comes together so much better! Comes closest to a fresh, warm apple pie like you get when the apples were peeled and pie baked same afternoon. I imagine as the steep time goes on, it will taste like a slice warmed up on day 2, when all the flavors have had a chance to meld more.

Clark and Katy hit a this one perfectly. I have decided I will nickname this one "Home Run" because Baseball and Apple Pie and all that.

I loved the Frenilla suggestion! I put two drops of Frenilla from 4/23 and it is now difficult to stop vaping it.

I also tried a nice variation with two drops Frenilla and 2 drops GCD. It turned it into "Hot Apple Crisp" complete with cinnamon crumbles.

So, you can have 3 variations with this one and the additions merely enhance and do not overshadow the Apple Pie.

I like the GCD recommendation!!

Atty: Aerotank MOW with 2.0 ohm dual coil

Mod: MVP at 7.5 watts

Thoughts/tasting notes: very fresh apples and cinnamin are predominant. Not getting much crust. Tried raising power, but then it was muting. Very strong at 7.5. I may not have good enough gear to get the crust fresh. I'm not in love on my first spin with it and yet I can't put it down, lol! I'm actually a little nic buzzed because of it! So its quite intoxicating. I was like this with the Virus though and within a few hours decided I had to have it. So I guess I'm also infected with Band Camp!

This juice is a dripping juice for sure...I tried it first in a Mini Protank 2 with micro coil @ 1.8ohm and organic cotton wick...it was very good, tasty, I think it tastes like a fresh juicy apple with cinnamon on it. Then I loaded it up in my Magma RDA, first with a single micro coil build @ .9 ohm on a HCigar Brass Stingray...AMAZING!!!! Super juicy apples with a hint of cinnamon. I decided to try it with dual coils in the Magma, so I built it, .5ohm dual coil with organic cotton, tried on both the Stingray clone and my new DNA30 box mod from Magnum Modz that runs dual 18650..it got even juicier with the dual coils..I found the sweet spot on the DNA to be about 20 watts...so Id say as good as this stuff is in a tank, it just turns to gold when dripped....its gonna be a sad day when this stuff runs out

Steep time: Whatever it's been since release day

Nic level: 6mg, 30ml Band Camp MaxVG + 15ml Frenilla 18mg

Atty: Protank Mini 2 1.6ohm Nichrome 80 Microcoil, sterile cotton

Mod: MVP at 7.5 watts

This is my MaxVG + Frenilla mix 6mg. It's in a unique place, hints of apple. Really good but mysterious right now. Apple like exhale but having a hard time putting my finger on the individual flavors but very happy to keep vaping it.

A note: on exhale if I put my tongue close to the roof of my mouth I taste the crust :). I've been doing a lot of experimentation lately on different exhales with my mouth, nose and both, and am discovering interesting new tastes on the NT juices. Especially when exhaled slowly. Yeah, I'm a weirdo, lol!

There's plenty of science to back up what you're doing. I do the same thing and I actually enjoy the different nuances of flavor that I detect when directing the incoming vape stream onto different parts of my tongue (sides, top, bottom etc). Taste buds aren't uniformly oriented across the surface of our tongues so it only would stand to reason that vapor directly flowing over different parts of the tongue will show variations of that flavor, especially with more complex flavors! ;) :2c:

I just realized today I have refilled my Reo four times with Band Camp in the last week. I've never gone thought our tanks of anything without switching up my flavors. I keep telling myself after this bottle I'll switch flavors for a little bit. I then find myself with just one more bottle. I may have a band camp problem. I need to order more!!

Steep time: Right off the truck

Nic Level: 18mg

Tank/Atomizer: Nautilus

Mod: (mechanical, VV) Provari 2.5

Thoughts/Tasting Notes: Wow! Just, wow! My mother used to make the world's greatest apple pie. She's been gone for over 20 years, and I haven't had the pie in over 30. In the interim, I've had thousands of apple pies ranging from really good to really bad. But, Clark has supplied me with the quality of Mom. Very tart apples with a slight buttery cinnamon overlay. I may like this better than The Virus.

Another all-life vape from Nicoticket.

Steep: Born on 7/12; cracked open on 8/18.
Level : 6mg
Atty: Plumeveil dripper @ .84 ohms (single coil) on some god-knows-what mech

It's interesting....but in a good way. I get a lot of warm cinnamon apple crust, all mixed in one. The first taste was too crusty for me, but I think I can attribute that to it being a very fresh cotton build. Second, third, etc hits...it just got better each vape.

It makes me want vanilla ice cream. Lots of it. It tastes almost fresh-out-of-the-oven-but-warmed-just-enough where apple pie is at its finest.

I'll be honest, I didn't think I was going to be a fan (so i bought the customary trial size of 50mg). I see that 50mg isn't going to be nearly enough.
