Thoughts/Tasting Notes: True lychee flavor. I've been eating lychee for years. They're one of my favorite fruits. Hummingbird delivers honest lychee flavor along with what tastes like a subtle amount of cranberry tartness to counterbalance the sweetness of the lychee. Lychee flavored anything (my kids and I love lychee jelly) is usually intensely sweet, but here it is tamed by the subtle cranberry. If you've ever eaten those lychee flavored jelly snacks they sell in most Asian grocery stores you will immediately recognize the flavor in Hummingbird. It's an amazing fruit vape. It just has such a dreamy taste that I want more and more and more. It's the kind of eliquid that's easy to over vape. I don't want to stop hitting it. The throat hit is extremely light (a big plus for me), even at 11 watts, which is the highest my MVP2 will go. Hummingbird is the very definition of refreshing. I really tried to find something to criticize about this juice. I thought, "maybe it could would improve with a little more lychee flavor", but I vaped it a bit more and feel it doesn't need it. I'm trying to save my ecig budget for Frenilla but Clark is making it so hard to do.
No steeping is required here. 5 Stars right out of the mailbox.
This is a thick eliquid. If you're using a protank or evod type clearomizer with a stock Kanger head to vape this I definitely recommend pulling out a flavor wick or you WILL get dry hits.

kimchi-bokkeumbap is about the only Korean food I know how to make well
I think there are lots of people who have probably not tried a real lychee - always curious about how the flavor of the vape comes across without having actually tried one. I've had it once - I recall it being a really BOLD flavor. Comparatively speaking I think the qualities of the flavor are spot on, but it's definitely used sparingly!

Admittedly, though I have had lychee several times in the past, I'm not that much of an expert on it to really compare it to the real thing since I've had it several different ways (on a salad, in a tea) and only at restaurants. I can't say I've ever purchased lychee at the store (we have plenty of Asian stores around here) and brought it home.
Due to the high VG in this juice, it can take a lot of heat. Unlike most of my other fruity blends, I could barely taste it at all at 3.8v. But crank it up a few notches and mmm, there we go! I even tried that suggestion someone else made here about adding some Frenilla and oh mama, that rocked! I really liked how the Frenilla enhanced even more of the creamy-ness that seems to be already present in the e-liquid.
Overall, the lychee and cranberry combine to form a very vapeable and yummy e-liquid, one that I hope does make a permanent appearance on the menu as I only got 30ml for myself.

Couldn't agree more. This one's a keeper. It's a lot of fun following Kent's new releases and trying so many creative new flavors. Although, I'd prefer it if he would slow down with all the roll outs, if only so I could afford to buy more of each short run that hits my comfort zone. I'd love to stock up on Hummingbird and PBC but Frenilla is coming! I actually went to the site to make another PBC order when I saw Hummingbird. Sacrifices were made. lol =_=
We're going to try to release something new, at least a flash liter or two, every week. We like change-ups. Small batch short-run liquid keeps us sharp on the creativity front... I love the permanent line-up, but change-ups are nice. You don't have to buy them all

But they're all so good!! So far the flash liters have eluded me but that can't last forever. Oh, there are still two flavors on your site that I haven't tried so I don't feel compelled to get them all. I really love your idea of possibly reissuing popular short run flavors with recipe tweaks based on customer feedback.

I've never had lychee and only sometimes like cranberry. Love this though. Very thing works well together and has good mouth feel. It has enough tang to wake up the taste buds. Great for when a break from bakery is needed. The different flavors don't fight each other and as I would expect from NT well balanced. I only dripped it for a little bit but it was enough to know it's going into a tank where I can spend more time with it. Will update when I do.
