haha im joking. yeah honestly I already knew I wouldnt like the allen screws. I posted on calivapes and people were saying he included extra phillips screws but i guess that was just on the beta ones. Ill prob end up going to the hardware store and find some replacements.

Yeah home depot is on my list for tomorrow and hopefully I can get this resolved. And hopefully my 2nd one will not be like this.

I would try seeing if some screws from a different atty would work. I took these from a fogger I never even used w/ some luck maybe they'll fit

Tried all the screws I had, they fit but were too tall for the top cap. I could always dremel some off the bottom but id prefer to buy the right ones for now at least. Till I get desperate.

I emailed him. he said due to the reduced chamber you cant use phillips screws. oh well, I have a spare allen keys laying around.

i know they have slotted scews that look just like that. on my kfl+ air hole adjustment its the same thing but instead of the allen its slotted. let me see if I can get a good pic.

I currently have a a horizontal build, but I might try a vertical one like that next time. It might work a little better.

maybe I read it wrong. let me try and find that post I was talking about because im curious too. I asked specifically about phillips screws, shouldve thought that thru thats my bad.

yeah looks like he did include phillips w/ the betas.
must not of worked because he told me. "I did not do Phillips only set screws because my chamber is really reduced that heads of the screw would hit the top cap."

I wasnt trying to be ignorant towards him, I just figured he would of offered an alternative cause of what you said. Either way, I just emailed him and asked. I know the screws your talking about, the magma has them, but sadly those are slightly too big.

The only screws I have that ALMOST fit are from my tobh 2.5. And the top and everything almost fits down on it, so close.

Yeah I was referring to the center post when I said that. I was concerned about the copper touching the juice and he is sending me a SS post. I can live w/ the Allen key. I have extras that will fit

Oh ok, I emailed him the other day about that. Every review I saw said it was included, but it wasnt, well it was for certain ones I guess not sure. But the hardware store it is for me.

I somewhat fixed it for now! I shoved a phillips screw in the post hole and just kept screwing it in and out and I guess it opened up the threads cause thats what the set screws were getting caught up on and not ever going all the way down. Now they do. Still need a new stronger allen key though but at least its somewhat ok now. Thanks for all your help!

Lmao! I was thinking the same thing, mine didnt update till today I think, said it would be here by Saturday but we'll see. I might sell this one since it'll be my 2nd hobo, im not sure I like it enough to have 2 of them. It wasnt what I expected.
