I received two extra screws, but the are the same as the four that came on there and fit the tiny alen it came with. Those things are very very tiny. I don't think it was supposed to come with a drip tip. I sure wasn't expecting one and didn't get one.

I've only been up and running about an hour but I'm not regretting the buy. Awesome flavor and clouds. This is a very very different beast than I am used to so I need to spend some more time getting familiar. The little weirdisms I'm wondering about I think will go away when I'm used to it. Like I think it's weird that no part of the base can be gripped from the side, I ended up having to unscrew the top off so it was down to just the base to get it off my mod the first time. But after that I got the Hobo together tighter, and didn't put it as tight on the mod and haven't had that issue since. Sure those screws are crazy ridiculously tiny...but you don't take them out. Ultra tiny allen I didn't have any problems with and have all my vape gear together so although annoying that's just what it is. Shouldn't have a prob keeping up with it. It's tiny enough I didn't want to crank down the screws, that's prolly a good thing. Was a bit finicky/tight getting it apart the first time, but it's fine now. I get it and the pop off pieces pop a lot easier. I forgot who said you had to drip through the drip tip.... nah pop off the outer top. I unscrew the viking and that never erked me. Leak proof claim though.... I'm not buying it.

I'm almost to 4 months vaping, a bit under 3 months with rebuildables, and my only other dripper is the viking with much less airflow. My two RTA's are Erlkonigins. Therefore I do not have much experience or very broad experience. The airflow is much much much more on this, so it's a very different vape than I am accustomed to. I have the top holes all the way closed and the coil holes barely open, maybe 20%. It's still at about the mouth to lung limit for me and I'm doing some lung hits too. Again, it's just what I know.

Vertical build was easy enough to get on there, even for this noob. Will probably tweak position a bit to line up with the tiny opening I have going better than what would have been the middle of the opening if I had it going full blast. Legs are a lot longer than the viking so I ended up higher than I was aiming. 6 wrap 30awg dual coil .8 ohms CCrayon. Even with that higher build though I'm fogging up the room and yummy yummy. You want it scary close to the screw on top portion when you are screwing, when it's screwed all the way down the coil will be at the slot so no short.

Bottom line the vape is very very good; that is the #1 criteria for me. For me, I think the isms are not really going to be problems as I get used to this thing. It's a lot different than what I've used thus far, so that's good for me. I'm really looking forward to spending some more time and learning. I thought the .8ohms was going to be weak, it would have been lacking on the viking but it's not on the Hobo. Excellent, plentiful, strong, moist vape. I'm really curious what .6 and .4 is going to be like.

Oh and looks fabulous on the SS papsX. I'm a happy vapor enjoying my hobo.

I am absolutely loving the vape experience from this hobo. It's a learning experience for me, have had to transition to lung hits, just to airy for mouth to lung and I've got this shut down pretty much as far as it will go. I'm dual coiling so have the air slots lined up for that, and only have a tiny sliver open and it's still airier than an Erlkonigin all the way open with the air flow control ring completely pulled off. I'm not saying that's a bad thing, just trying to describe how airy it is.

The vape is amazing though. I've stuck with the .8ohm vertical for today, will go lower soon, prolly tomorrow. This is def better vape than I was getting with the viking (maybe I am not setting up optimally though). It's as good if not a little better than the Erl, again though it's different with the lung hits and airiness and that's a tank. Anyone out there thinking X, Y, or Z is clearly a better vape?

Seems like most RDAs are described as "for clouds" or "for flavor", for me this this seems top notch in both categories. Build quality is very nice to, my threads have been good, materials seem good, machining good.

I personally wouldnt say its better than or worse then most of my other rda's. Ive noticed each one I have has something different that I either like or hate then the next, ive yet to find that 1 that just checks off every thing I want in an rda. Once I throw verticals in here then I wont rule it out too quickly.

I have authentic magma and veritas and clones of the plume veil, tobh, mephisto. This is def my favorite. For me the hobo has it all. Easy to build w/ the removable drip well. 4 post holes. Tons of air flow. Holds tons of juice. Flavor is just as good as magma. Build quality is top notch and on top of all that Hoberto is easy to contact and stands behind his product. That's just my opinion tho. Different strokes for different folks

Well that's certainly a list of highly regarded drippers, appreciate your thoughts. I'm feeling really good about this buy.

Does anybody know where to get the white top hat for the HOBO? I have the stainless that it came with and the copper one but I am trying to find the white one of anybody has any leads?
Maybe try emailing the man himself, the modder. Ive emailed him a couple times and hes always gotten back to me that day, sometimes within the hour. Maybe he can give you a run down or list of stores that carry them.
