Sorry if these were asked:

Capacity? Looks like a ~magma-origen capacity..

Is the creator/modder on here? Someone that knows(or the maker) please PM me...I haven't used this atty..or even seen it in person, but I want to give them props.

I didn't get how this atomizer was until later on in the thread..like post 31.. but I don't think I saw that -tapatalk..so I didn't know the well size until a page or two back...this is a 5 page thread, just fyi.;)

He actually just commented on here on the page before this one, HOBOCNC. You could PM him or email him. Super nice guy.

It looks like Round 2 is up. The pictures at VaporDNA show that the top portion of the center post looks to be stainless and the bottom copper?

I did get confirmation from Hobo Customs that they had referred my request for stainless posts off to their distributor who has seemed to stop responding to my inquiries so I still haven't managed to get a stainless post yet :(

Yes, I got another response from hobo@hobocustoms.com confirming that the person I was dealing with was his distributor, but I'm not getting any more responses from the distributor.

Did you just ask him if XYZ was his distributor or did you actually say "Will you please send me a stainless steel positive post"? I can't speak for Hobo, I've only interacted with him once, but he had the post in the mail to me the next day and based on my readings here and over at cali vapors this level of customer service is not an isolated incident. I mean did he say, "get the post from the distributor", and if so I'd let him know the distributor is non responsive, I'd suspect Hoberto would not like hearing that.

Really shouldn't be this hard. Sorry you're getting a bit of the run around.

I agree as well. It wasnt this hard for me at all, mine was shipped next day and to me in 2 days. It shouldnt be this hard for you. That's why I asked if you were sure it was him? I just talked to him the other day and hes sending me 2 2.1 insulators, not sure if he sent them but he said he would. Maybe email him again or PM him through here. I know he just opened up an ECF account.

Trying some different things out. Got one of those sigelei 100w and since it's clear after 2 days I don't need anywhere near 100 watts gunna be trying different kinds of builds to try and capitalize on some of those extra volts. Thought process here was more Kanthal, it'll still be able to heat it up fast enough.

parallel 30awg, 8 wraps, dual coil came out to .4 ohms. Maybe go for ten next time. Vaping very well and can turn it up a little more.My first parallels.

Nice setup man. I like it.

Yeah, I've never run a vertical like that...it's more like the opposite- big fluffy top, thin tail in well.

Are you getting better capacity with that?

Thanks fellas. Really enjoying the build, it's more flavor than the last .4ohm straight forward 28awg dual 5 wrap, but may have the coil a little closer to air intake too. Frankly I'm not a very experienced builder, but have had some luck accomplishing what I set out to do. The first build I stuck on her I copied a pic that was linked to here of a vertical build but I didn't have the rayon doubled over, just one layer fill of the channel to the end and snip. I was getting coil hole moisture, not really leaking, but liquid sitting there on the air intakes so decided to double over the rayon on round two. Seemed to help, much less moisture but I may have just been over filling. There's def less free liquid down in there like this though and it fills some empty space. Vaping great but haven't done very much trial and error. The parallel is just my 3rd build. I just loaded up, it was low but not dry hit territory, and 15 drops per side had it pretty stuffed but not too close to seeping. Seems like plenty to me, not sure if that's a lot or even how much juice that is and it could take a little more. On both the prior builds I felt like I got the coil "really" close to the air intake, this time it is really really close :) That regulated mod safety better work lol; it's not gunna touch though.

How are you all setting up? pics? horizontal, 45 deg, wicking strategy??? Recommendations and link to another approach?

so badasss, i have to have one, where did you get your's from?
This thing is AWESOME, Favorite dripper (but I've only tried 2 lol). Folks with more experience agree though. I got mine from the puff puff preorder...then folks that didn't preorder started receiving thiers before puff puff shipped so that kinda sucked. Puff Puff wasn't far behind though so wasn't too bad. Builder is updating to v2.1 right now which is SS center post instead of copper, but he's been providing the SS to those which ask and have the copper already (510 pin still copper). I think there is something a little different with the seal inside too flat instead of rounded or something.

Looks like vapordna has 2.1 in stock. vaporsourcela has v2 in stock. puff puff appears to have another order in route but has some of the optional top caps for snazifying. google "hobo RDA". Also over at Cali Vapors it looks like some folks are going straight to "Hoberto" the creator, he's pretty active there and has popped in over here. He was great to deal with on getting the SS center post.

Couldn't be more pleased.

with all the air flow I just tried my lowest ohm build. .2ohm 24 gauge dual vertical coils. I have my coils so close to the air hole I could barley even fit my juice well over the coils. took a little bit pushing a twisting but I got it. after i screwed the juice well on the coils are not touching anything but its so close. Im sure this is closer than most people would be comfortable w/ but I love it lol. I think ill stick w/ .4 moving forward but this atty can handle .2 no problems. I do have a derlin drip tip and top cap.

If my math is right on a fresh battery at .2 ohms thats 88.2 watts so I can see getting close to 100 watts. after seeing the pic of mcr w/ the hobo I had to order one. I cant wait for it to get here. the hobo keeps on impressing me. I think im going to order another one before its too late. I havent used any other atty since recieving my hobo

Jeez... I'm in crisis mode. I'm broke now.. and they can't afford for me to pass my test..so yeah.. this is how things will be for the time being.:/

I'm loving the idea of having one, +a copper hat, but I can't afford high end atomizers at the moment.

Anyone try a holmes, or any of new awesome atomizers that are cheaper? Sell me on it if it's better than anything I could be buying in the next 3 weeks.

Cuz I know I'll love this atomizer, but I'm on alert for a certain forum on ecf. ;) I think I may get lucky one day.

The Vulcan rda is pretty nice. Great pricing, awesome presentation, about 60$ and thats good for the work that went into this thing. Definitely worth a shot in my book. Although mine has been neglected since ive been using other things.
