Yeah email for scam was from hello@hohmtech.com i called ohmtech and thief wanted money or wouldn't ship it. So i took it to paypal never purchasing hardware from us stores ever again. Unless its cheap like vape shop in astoria oregon and that was in person. Rh mini iron man edition. Got jardware in canada last boxing day 2015 because with sale amd deal it beat china by far.after that been buying from legit sites non us. Making liquid bow so that spree on spring still got like 1.7l and making it os cheap as heck and got beyter flavors and what i like not whats available. Ummmm I'm not real sure what happened, as none of your posts really make sense. If you don't like the product,fine,maybe it's not for you. Personally I've had no issues with vapor cube, homhtech or my mod. It's the only one I've tried that actually does tc kanthal, and I've tried most boards on the market.

Same here – ordered a few times from Vaporcube and have been very happy with their service, and have found Hohmtech to be very responsive as well. Enjoy the G2 so much I have three of them.
Just wanted to add that in case someone reading the stream of consciousness series of recent posts is concerned about the validity of the vendor or the company. Then again, for someone to be concerned they would have to figure out what those posts actually mean – I gave up!

Finally got around to updating my G2 to the latest 2.5.7 firmware, at first windows kept saying device driver software installation failed. Then I realized there is a driver file in a folder called drivers that came with the download lol that I just double clicked then it worked. Today is the first time of me using the G2 at all but I managed to find the Temp Control for Kanthal and it seems to work well so far.
I have NiFethal 52 and SS 430 I need to try as well. Guess I need the XXX Mode for the NiFe52. The 430 has its own selectable mode which is nice along with other grades of SS. Might bust out some old school Nichrome too lol although last time I used nichrome it hurt my throat. The Possibilities with the G2 are endless!

Can this mod do a proper TFR range input? I found the default settings for materials to be wrong on all my DNA boards... Which is why TC is always so horrible on other people's mods or whenever I tried it before... Being able to delete the default material settings and input a proper TFR graph actually made TC workable for me.

Fsk is an owerpriced taste control iwepal chipset u can see the tc kanthal video @vapinkarloz on instagram.n80 tc is easy on any dna with escribe. Escibe was made to prevent cloning like they did the dna40 within a month

Btw recieved g1 and g2 they SUCK thrylike hexohm using mosfet chips i mean the price of their crap desnt match the price of a dna chip..
I was smart enough to send them their crap back and got refunded though paypal dispute

Please read the owner's manual and watch some video's, the G2 and Slice work differently than other mods but once you have it down it is easy.
Here is a quick rundown of the basic operation of the G2 and Slice:
When you first install batteries you will get the boot up screen then the screen will go black. To turn on the unit press and hold the Mode button until it turns on. It is the same to turn off the mod but you will have to press the mode button until you get a confirmation screen asking you to press the mode button 2 times to shut the mod down.
When switching tanks remove the old tank, hit the fire button to clear the resistance then install the new tank and hit the fire button. This resets the resistance to the new tank, if you get a damaged atomizer or other fault on the screen then unscrew your tank and hit the fire button until it reads "CONNECT ATOMIZER" then screw the tank back on and hit the fire button to read the new resistance.
Some tanks from Horizontech and a few others don't play nice on the G2 or Slice from time to time. If this happens it can be solved by adding a mod protector (small plastic disc that sits between the tank and mod to protect from scratches) or by simply adding a drip tip oring to the tanks 510 connection.
To switch between modes click the MODE button 3 times quickly, to get to the next screen click the mode button quickly again....etc. This is were you will find the TC modes and also get back to Watts mode.
To switch between adjusting Temp and Watts when in a TC mode click the fire button 3 times quickly.
To lock or unlock the mod press and hold the + & - buttons at the same time.
There is a resistance lock but it is recommended to not do that with these mods.
Adjusting FSK % when in xXx, Kanthal, Tungsten (W) or Nichrome (NiCr) modes.
FSK is the real key to the Hohm mods and works only in xXx (all metals mode) Kanthal, Tungsten and Nichrome TC settings. SS, Ti and Ni do not have a FSK adjustment as there values are already accounted for.
To adjust your FSK % when in the above noted modes you simply press and hold both the + & - buttons and the Mode button at the same time for 3 seconds. That takes you into the "Advanced Insanity Menu" and the first option will be "FSK Temp Curve" press the fire button to enter into it and you can adjust FSK to suit your desired vape. If the vape is too hot then turn FSK % down, too cold then turn it up. It takes a little getting use to but once you have it down it is easy.
xXx Mode
The last update really improved the SS and Kanthal presets although you still have to adjust FSK % for Kanthal. I do not use Ti or Ni so can't comment on how those modes work but I would recommend using those modes instead of xXx if that is what you are using.
Before the latest update many of use just used xXx mode exclusively for everything and I still do a lot of the time. xXx mode just lets you fine tune your vape the way you want it, it is as easy as turning your FSK % up for a warmer vape and down for a cooler one. You can then do a little fine tuning if you like with Temp and Watts but I generally keep my temp around 450F and my watts high for a boost.
In my experience I usually set my Kanthal builds between 3% and 8% FSK when in xXx mode. A lot of this depends on the gauge of the wire and if it is a specialty coil like a Clapton, Alien...etc.
For Stainless Steel I usually have my FSK set between 6.5% to 16%, just depends on the build and my mood.
This all varies of course on user preference but that is the beauty of the FSK chip, it lets the user define there own experience.
Here is a general guideline for recommended FSK % based on wire types:
Of coarse the G2 and Slice work great in just power mode, one of the best out there. I personally use power mode most of the time with my other mods but have my Hohm Mods in TC mode 100% of the time, I love it.

SLICE FACTORY RESET
Get the correct firmware ready.
Take the battery out.
Put the battery back in.
Plug the computer side of the cord in
Plug the mod side in while holding down the +/- buttons.
This should factory reset the board.
Do the right update.
Vape.

It works differently than other mods for TC, there is no TCR or TFR to change but instead they use the FSK to adjust all that. For the preset SS, Ni and Ti there values are fixed and work really well. For all other metals you adjust the FSK % to suit the vape you are looking for, all of this is done on the mod.
If you want to know if 450F is really that then the DNA is what you want. The Hohm mods require the user to adjust for metals other than SS, Ni and Ti but once you get the hang of it it becomes second nature.
I have a couple DNA mods and am planning on buying the Think Vape Finder DNA167 soon. I really do like my DNA mods but there are some limitations which the FSK chip fills in those gaps. I am not the type of person who needs to know the accuracy of everything I do, if it works then I just like to keep it simple. I am pretty aware when vaping if it is too hot, I just simply turn down my FSK %, if it is too cold or not firing much then turn it up, it is really that simple and works on any wire.
yes I know, DNA's have been all I've used till now but traveling with them hasn't been ideal, airlines already lost a stab wood DNA 133 mod that I spent hours on & probably won't be getting back.
Looking for a beater mod that I can take with me on business trips & I heard this one was good. I'd like something like the new vapor shark but it's not out yet and I need it soon, so looking at other boards. But TFR range input is a must, tcr by itself is unacceptable.
