I had ordered a bunch of syringes, but I have been sending them to quite a few folks here who couldn't find the right syringes, and I need to keep what I have left. Otherwise, I'd be happy to send you some tanks. I wish I could help because these tanks have literally revolutionized vaping for me.

I agree with what's been said. Bill from D&B Gold has jumped onto the thread here and helped us out several times. He is making the exact same tanks we are making for ourselves, except you get the fill hole and plug. I would not hesitate to buy from him. These tanks are made from syringe plastic, and, as far as I know, they will not crack like the polycarbonate tanks do. At least, that has been everyone's experience that I am aware of. You're really going to like using these. Vey easy, no more topping off cartos all day long. Good luck, and let us know how much you love 'em!

Is anyone considering selling them? My husband and I would love to try a couple of tanks but spending $20-30 each is just not in our budget right now. We would like to try and make them but we don't have the tools that are needed. I don't have a PayPal account but I can send a few bucks if anyone is willing to sell a couple for like maybe $10? I would also need a couple of cut cartos so we can try it. I can even offer 3 bottles of Rockstar juice as a trade for maybe a few extra cut cartos. I have cotton candy, strawberry/watermelon & grapermelon. All are 15ml, 18mg bottles with only a few drops missing. We didn't like them. I'm not sure of the pg/vg rational. Sorry. Thank You!

Ok. Thanks again. I'm not a forum person but since I started vaping in July, I have gotten so many of my questions answered by so many knowledgeable and wonderful people. I just asked my husband about the tools and he said we don't have a pipe cutter or the blade needed to cut the cartos. Does anyone know how much they cost? I would have to order the syringes online but maybe I can find a really good price.

Thank You for my4jewels. I'll have to get in touch with Bill from D&B and see if I can send him cash. I don't have a PayPal account so it makes it hard to order stuff on here. To be honest, we don't even have a CC. We are on a really tight budget and I would be afraid of over spending if we had one. We got into vaping because the prices of cigarettes here in NY was bleeding us dry. LOL finding the right juice is bleeding us too.

I picked up a 20 ml syringe today at my local tractor Supply Store for $1.29, all they had was one. :( It is the type that he shows, so look for Ideal 20 ml syringes, and I have found them cheaper online. They are sold for vet uses. I know the filling is a bit harder, but I'm gonna give it a try. Is it too good to be true?

I know there has been 39 pages posted since this thread, but I just found it. Just wanted to say that I got my syringes for my mod at the local tractor supply, and the first I bought the syringes individually. The next time I went, I found they also sold them in boxes of 4 for cheaper than the $1.50 a piece I got them individually.

On a different note, has anybody noticed a difference in airflow for this? I'm using a tank mod on my ego with a booster and I'm noticing that I'm having to take longer draws on it and it's killing my battery MUCH faster than before. My battery would last me until 11 pm or longer, now it's dying about 6 pm. That's a pretty big difference.

I don't see how it could possibly affect batt life. The carto is what is drawing power, not the tank. As long as your using the same carto, it should be the same.

Again, I think the draw is all about the carto and the pv, not necessarily the tank, although I may be wrong, just my experience. I have heard that with the liquinator tanks, you can change the draw by moving the tank a little further up on the carto.

I met Bill at a vape meet recently and saw his tanks and they inspired me to try it. I've built mine basically the same as he builds his (just smaller for my different carto I use). He mainly builds them for the kr-808d though he's talking about branching out to other types. The types he make work really well, and I really like the side plug as it makes it extremely easy to fill. Definately a good tank system.

I think because it's because I'm having to hold the button down longer to get the same vape as I was before. If I'm taking 3 times longer each time I press the button, in theory the battery would only last 1/3 as long.

Thank you GIMike. I don't have a Tractor Supply store here on LI but maybe I can order online from them. I'm gonna look into that. Now for a question off subject please. Up at the top of the page it said I have a private message in the notifications tab. I clicked on it but there was no message. Am I doing something wrong?

I have a 510 connection. Will he make that on request or does he only do 808?

Last I heard he's in the process of acquiring cartomizers long enough for his application. He's getting specially made long cartos for his tanks. I mentioned making a smaller fatter tank that could then hold the same amount of liquid as his 808 tanks to go with the boge (or something similar) cartos. Haven't heard any more about what he's got going now though.

If you click on the Notifications tab at the top it should show a drop down box and you click on the one you want. I hope this helps, if not ask again. I also sent you a like on your post and it should also show up in the Notifications tab. Just click it and let me know if you see it.

i think what is happening is the bottom tank seal is somehow either covering the bottom of the carto where the air is supposed to get in when you vape, it could also be when you screw the tank onto your pv the bottom seal is touching the pv and restricting the airflow. try moving the bottom seal up just a hair and make sure there is a little gap between it and the pv for the air to get in. if the draw is too stiff you will just suck out juice like a kids juice box. hope this helps :)

Here's a lil' hint for centering the 'punch' carto in the plunger. Make about three/four wraps around the punch end of the carto with masking tape, leaving about 1/8" bare for cutting. This will greatly aid in centering the carto hole. Keep the punch carto vertical, insure the plunger is level and the existing hole on top.

This did a really nice centered job using a piece of hardwood as the 'bench'.

i did the same tank mod using 2 x 20ml syringe and it is good and firm. the problem i having now is the flavor is having a burnt taste. what i did was.

i filled the tank and started vaping. i forgot to actually wick the polyfill in my HealthCabin 1.5ohm Dual Coil on my 510.

is it because I have burnt the polyfill which is now producing the burnt taste due to the 4-5 seconds firing of my 510 without wicking the polyfill? and if yes, should i change to another DC and try to see if the taste persist?

I have had some very good suggestions about the tank from the posters here, and I guess that when filling the first time you should let it set for awhile to allow the carto to wick the juice and wet the carto. I haven't built one yet, but I think after setting for a while with juice in the tank I will look inside of the carto and see if it looks moist, and if not I will add some juice to the carto. Maybe some of the other people that use the tank will tell me what you think? I know if you burn the diaper surrounding the coil its shot, and no fixes with what I have experienced.
