Are you using the 3ml syringe plunger for the plug? You said you enlarge the hole to 5'8"; is that a typo?

Thanx GIMike. That's how my tank looks.

My fill plug mod method:

Measure carefully where you want the plug. Don't forget to have the syringe plunger in the tube when measuring.
I use a heavy duty handheld hole punch to establish a starter hole.
Then I enlarge the hole to 5'8" with a one inch stepped Uni-bit.
I then use an Exacto knife to 'clean' the hole edges if needed.

Thanks, I can't wait to use these 510 carts on my Provari. I've been using my Kr8 carts with an adaptor. It always bothered me having that space between the tank and battery.
It's all personal. I like the 2.0's around 3.7V. The 3.0's are great at 4.2V-4.5V. You can play around with the volatage. You'll want to stay fairly low with the 2.0's though.

Actually the orignal post was 5 feet 8 inches, which made me figure it was definately a typo of some sort since that hole would be taller than a lot of people ;)
Taller than me. LOL and 5/8" hole? I thought that's as big as my syringe. GOT it now 5/16" hole. Thanks again Iffy, for the information.

Now, my bottle tips have a point on them. I've saved every bottle tip from every Tasty Vapor bottle I've ever had...they work fine in most vendors 30ml bottles. But, if you have the rounded tips in your bottles, you may want to run a thin nail through them to get the juice to do more than "drip....drip...drip" out.

Probably already asked/answered, but...

Do tank mods increase the life-span of cartomizers? Seems like my favorites (Boge LRs) only last between 8 and 10 ml of traffic before they seem to get clogged. Sure, it winds up being cheap compared to analogs, but i'd like to see a more efficient solution.

Yes, they seem to. Since I am using go-go cartos, I can take them apart to dry burn them once the taste falls off. They are lasting longer before that happens. When they do start to go downhill I can take the filler out, and I have yet to get any sort of burning or even brown marks on the filler while using a tank (without tanks I usually get at least a little bit of burn on the filler). So the cause of flavor loss isn't filler burning, but must be the atty getting clogged or the filler getting too sticky to wick properly. I'm definitely getting a few more days out of the cartos before any flavor loss though. YMMV.

Edited to correct egregious typos.

I'm actually thinking that they don't last as long. To me, since they stay wet, the filler seems to clog faster than it does when you run it dry and rewet it. My carto has only lasted a little over a week and it actually needed replaced a couple of day ago. I could normally get almost a 2 full weeks out of them before the tank.

I am a heavy vaporer and find some carto's out of the same box doesn't last as long as the others, without using them in a tank.
