My new concern is getting the glue off the carto after taking off the sticker. I haven't been able to get the glue off without using Goof Off. I don't want any chemical residue on anything inside that tank. Guess I should wait till I get some cartos w/o the stickers.
Finally was able to get the email to work on my cell phoneHere is the picture of the tank, where the stoppers ARE flush:

This saddle piercing doo-hicky is AW-SUM! I got one at home depot today. It's not that fancy type from the aquarium type stores, but it works fine. I'm using the syringe plunger as a sort of a jig to get the holes in the right place like this...
I put the plunger (with the hole already in it) on the carto where I want it to eventually be, then I move it down so that it's hanging off the bottom of the carto by about 1/2 it's width. Then I use that to line up the carto in the piercer. I punch the carto, and before I take it out, I use a pencil to lightly mark the syringe plunger 180 degrees from where the first hole is. I loosen the puncher part and the two tightening screws, then rotate the carto 180 so that my pencil mark is now up at the top. I tighten the screws and then punch again. I'm doing ~4 full turns past where I first hear the spike pierce the metal. That puts two holes on opposite sides right down at the bottom where I will need them to be when the tank is assembled.
ETA: a picture, in case that didn't make any sense.

That looks like it would work to me. I usually put my plunger things in the other way, but there's no reason it has to be that way (as far as I know).
On my mods, I have the 2 rib plungers and I have the second ribs just outside the tank. See Photo
That is what mine DOESN'T do

Flip the plungers over?

Thanks. I've been waiting for them to get in the Resurectors, course I'll have to de-sticker them. Just looked again, still out, but one of the options is SS, so maybe won't have to de sticker.Crystal Clear Vaping has the boge cartos in stainless now. So much easier than trying to get the glue off.
Just keep the mouth piece on the cart and use a piece of paper towel soaked in your goof-off or nail polish remover and wrap it around the cart. Let it soak for a couple of minutes and it will all wipe off. After that just dry it off and then use rubbing alcohol to remove the nasty smell and glue residue. It should be good to go. That what I did until my stickerless carts came in.
Good to know. I know they use it on water supplies all the time so that surprises me that ejuice would disintegrate. I will do a experiment with laying a piece in Ejuice and letting it sit and see what happens. The teflon tape has been tried for other modifications and when the e-juice got on it-it disintegrated. Can't be good for us. I am enjoying this thread and playing around with making tanks.
How has it been holding up with the sticker. I know E-Juice wont take the glue off after you remove the sticker so who knows it might be great without removing it. The sticker is like a vinyl paper so I don't think that would hurt anything either. I may have to try one with the wrapper on it.I guess I did a stupid thing...I've used my black cartos not realizing it was a sticker...I've got six tanks made and vaping with the black still on the carto....
