In this picture, does the hole go through the carto as well or no????

I had some wicking problems with one that I made (small slot, not quite big enough). I covered the bottom of the carto and sucked on the top, just to get the juice flowing into the filler. After it got started, it wicked fine.

I partially figured out a fill hole. I used a belt hole puncher to make a small hole in the syringe and a rubber earring back with a headpin stuck in the hole (both of which I had for jewelery making). It seals very tight, problem is the hole is really small and I have to fill it with a syringe. :D I guess it's a little easier than pushing the needle through the rubber gasket, but I still have to use the syringe. Back to the drawing board.

Sorry, I tried sizing these pictures smaller, but for some reason they are coming out huge!

ETA Oh, now they are smaller. Whatever...

Here is the one I made using the plug out of the 510 round blank cartridge. Its on my GO GO battery.

Looks like you could make that tank sooooo much longer to hold more juice :)

Will the endcaps from a liquinator work on this tank?

I would say probably not. These tanks are just syringes. We use the plungers that come with the syringes as they're made to fit the syringe. I'm sure the caps for the liquinator tanks are probably made to fit whatever plastic tubes the person making them wanted to use. It's so much easier to just use the plungers, not sure why you'd want to use a lid that's known to be illfitting and leaky anyway?

Right, just through the tank for filling. I'm putting them closer to the top now because it makes them easier to fill.

I think I'll stick with the larger hole as I really don't like the idea of having an actual syringe in my house. If I'm going to put a hole in my tank, it's gonna need to be large enough for me to fit my bottle nose in it ;)

I actually use blunt end needles. I already had a bunch of them around for some pottery stuff I do. I can understand not wanting sharps around the house.

I've seen a case where a grandmother raising her grandkids properly because her kids were problem children got the kids taken away (due to what I don't know), but they claimed her e-cig was a device for illegal substances. I should never get into that kind of situation as my only run-ins with the law have been 1 speeding ticket 8 years ago, but I'd rather feel safe than sorry.

We have a cat that we have to hydrate everyday with a needle and fluid out of a bag and I'm scared to death of that needle, gotten myself too many times.

OK I made some syringe tanks, but the rubber was awful..they were BD I believe..I ended up getting some polycarb tubing,8ft.and the rubber grommet trick, works great, now trying to figure out how to refill without a syringe..

As far as punching a hole in a carto, use a deck screw or similar screw to punch through your carto..it goes through like butter, those screw tips are very sharp..I saw it in a video somewhere...Oh,and tape down the carto to hold it still..

To the person wondering about the polycarb tube/ grommets,.its on page 2or4 not further than 10 pages in..

I made it! I used a 10ml syringe, with the thinner end caps, because that's all I have right now, but it seems to work great! No leaking so far. I didn't have a 20 guage needle so I filled it by lifting the rubber edge, and using a blunt nosed syringe. Looks pretty cool on my Hello 016!!! It holds 3ml, and I'm still planning on getting the 20ml syringes, but it will still eliminate some refilling of the cartos...YAY!

Middle of nowhere
Seems like I have heard that before.
I use silicone tho.
If you pop out the mouth piece plug on 510 blank cartridge they work just fine.Just place a little superglue gel in the little air hole in the center of it.I use JB Weld putty just a very tiny amount. No break down of any kind and works perfect.Just drill your hole in your tube to where the plug has to be forced just a little and its good to go.Make sure its the round and not the flat cartridges.

OK, got one and tested on three cartos. Awesome penetration. A lil' 'busy' in setting up the carto in it the 'clamp' at the proper location. Since I like the holes very near to the plunger plug, I may make a wooden base jig with a marked location index.

Caution for those that try this tool: Insure that the carto is directly under the tip. Otherwise the tip will tend to 'wander' down the carto side.

Hint: Ya might want to get thumb screws to replace the phillip/common headed ones.

Would I get one if only making several syringe tanks, no. But I plan to make some extra tanks for friends and the PIF/TC. So for me at less than $7, it's a go!
