Thanks... it was designed by a wonderful fellow who is no longer with us... He was killed in the battle of Roly Gate... we ALL miss him.

It should be noted that Roly responded to our dearly departed's expeditious onslaught of conventional forces with a tactical nuke. It may have been an efficient way to end the conflict but it was in no way a fair fight or, in my mind, an honorable victory. :2c:

Fine... Vaptamist and Wacko BOTH win Z-atty U's...

And once again, Zen~ displays unbelievable generosity! Congrats Vaptamist and Wacko!!

And....I'm finally caught up here!

I'm so sorry to hear about all the problems you're having, Zen. :( I can't believe it, what the heck happened, did we go to sleep and wake up in Prohibition times? Screw 'em all, go back to basics and do mail orders only!

Set it up to send invoices that are to be printed out and mailed back along with a money order included. Cash the MO's and bury the money in your backyard, Zen, and don't let anyone make a pennys interest or percentage off your hard work!!!

This really ticks me off! I cannot imagine how this affects you, Mike, and I'm just so, so sorry. :(

My grandmother used to tell me that you can't have the beautiful flowers without rain, nothing will grow where the sun shines all the time. I try to remember that when life gets rough, hang in there my friend and we'll stand by you and with you til the rain is over. (((((((HUGS))))))

What she said ^^^

I'm just thinking in terms of resistance. Nice to know it comes ready to go, though! I've found myself vaping between 8 and 9 watts pretty much all of the time lately. I fear running a 3.7v with a self set coil isn't going to give me the warmth I need to run 6mg juices. Again, this is my first rebuildable, so I could be wrong.

I was using VV at 5+ with LR atties and coils. Now I use my mini with a 3.7 AW IMR 18350 and a 5 wrap coil. It's PERFECT!

I agree with the money order backyard thing!!!!!!! Nor am I opposed to showing up at your door with cash in hand!!

And again, what she said ^^^

Good (barely) afternoon Zenfidels!!
So much going on in the land of Zen!
Ya know, it’s funny, I have this thread opened up in the background nearly all the time, but I really don’t get much opportunity to read, so I spend a bunch of time trying to catch up.

good morning everyone.

congrats to the lucky winners.

question. I read a post about the battery being put in backwards. I tried it just for fun. I noticed that the device seems to hit a little harder when the battery is inserted like that. I wonder if it is because the screw makes stronger contact with the battery nipple while the flat part makes better contact with the screw inside in the top.

my question is this. If this totally safe? Are there any downsides to this? I would love for zen to chime in if he sees this. Maybe it is the same and I am crazy. That would actually make sense. thanks.

I can't answer to the safety of a backwards battery, but it seems illogical that using it that way would hit any "harder". You didn't magically reduce the tubes length. :D

it does not seem logical. I also think the flavor is a little more intense. I could totally be off my rocker. that would actually make sense. :)

Good morning, Zenfidels.

Congrats to the winners of the ZAU!!

Am I the only one who didn't think ASH was being an ASSh? I totally felt he was having fun, but with broken translation, it came out wrong, apparently. I felt he tried to "clarify" when called out. I'm heartbroken that things went sour for the thread, Zen, and him as well. ((((((( hugs )))))) to all.

The only danger I could think, is someone running a battery with a longer nipple on top of the battery, and it making a connection without pressing the button.
that it did on the katana.. had the nipple end down and once its screwed on, it fired without pressing the switch. freaky stuff..

oh and congrats to vaptamist and wacko..

The Zenesis is a mechanical device with no wires and a basic electrical path, there is no danger in putting the battery in backwards. Unlike other devices which use simple electronics and diodes to keep current travel in one direction to prevent damage to their circuits.
If you ever use a kick, put the battery in backwards then put the kick in, this will ease the removal and it will still work.

edit: I am not recommending this as the Zenesis should be used as Zen designed it, I just want to say that it is not dangerous and you don't have to worry about anything blowing up.

I think people need to be respectful and there need to be SOME rules. Zen specifically asked for people to not bring certain things up and then they were brought up again.

As I said last night, I have never seen a forum or thread where people are as intense, pushy or sometimes mean as they can be on this site in regards to the suppliers. Maybe I am being sympathetic because I am a retailer and I know how it feels. I think we could all learn to take a "chill-pill" once in a while.

I agree with you....somewhat. I think for him it was all in good fun and due to cultural differences, broken translation and no face-to-face communication, he was unable to grasp what we recognize to be "shut up already", "you don't know when to shut up", "...." (excuse me), "let it go" all meant to be taken as "you are getting on my last nerve!". I think he genuinely thought even Zen was joking....but I cringed when after Zen's second warning of "let it go!", he continued to have at it. But, then again, "let it go" and "leave it alone" all amount to the same no matter what language/culture, no? I wish I thought of PMing him before/while he continued to post...to tell him to "chill" and state exactly what I've written here. I feel bad for him and Zen as well.....
