Hi dearme, when I look at yahoo maps or mapquest or Google ..... where I'm moving to doesn't look very populated compared to VIRGINIA BEACH! LOL (Cement City). I spent most of my adult (career) years in Nashville or Pontiac Michigan, so this will seem remote, I hope.

You've probably been to parties with more people than the population of Penrose.......Population, just over 4,000.......Elevation, about 5,300 ft. According to Wiki........Penrose has no traffic lights, a volunteer-run fire station, a trucking company, 2 gas stations (one on US 50 and one on CO 115), an elementary school (graduates attend high school in Florence CO), one doctor, a post office, a small grocery store, the Estes Industries model rocket factory, a one small restaurant, 4 medical ......... dispensaries, and several other businesses.

But, actually, it's only 34 miles to CO Spgs, 30 to Pueblo, and 12 to Canon City....so you won't forget what civilization looks like.......LOL........and the scenery is beautiful....

Aaand done! I used the Zen/ JackFrost wick oxidizing method, broke her down, and used the Lorderos cleaning method, used my contact cleaner, and built a 4 wrap coil on a 325 wick, using the paperclip till you're done method. I bumped the coils a bit to even them out with a toothpick, and set her up. Did a dry burn, the coils lit up perfectly the first time, so I doused the wick with a bit of VG. Loaded the tank with Bounty Hunter, tilted her to 45, and gave it a burn to make sure all was going well. It was.

First 10 or so draws were pretty harsh but settled in quickly. Taste is already better than the original setup. I must say I was surprised that after having watching all the videos 5 or so times a while back, the process was REALLY EASY! I've already got a bit of a headrush from testing this thing, and I hadn't had a headrush pretty much ever in my vaping experience. I'm really excited and hopeful that everything settles in nicely. I'll keep ya'll posted.

No pics this time, cause I was really nervous about what I perceived to be an ambitious undertaking. I was pleasantly surprised at how smoothly everything went! Of course while I was at Target, they don't sell single paperclips, so I bought 350 of them. I'm down to 349 now, so I should have enough paperclips for my great great great great great great great great great great grandkids to build wicks for this thing.
