I think he took it as a personal affront that an imperfect Zenesis had somehow escaped into the wild

You nailed it right on the head.... By design, in my mind the Zenesis is supposed to be the Rolex of PVs... Beauty in simplicity... Form following function, serviceable forever and an ownership experience like no other.

Rolex didn't invent the wrist watch... They raised it to iconic status by doing exactly what I intend to do to the APV... Provide people with a great device and service they cannot believe is actually happening. I've had some hiccups on the way here, but I'm learning as I go, and I have a really well defined plan of action to make this happen... And having a blemished PV in the hands of an end user really isn't part of my plan, nor is having you repair it yourself.

I hear ya, Zen~. I'm a believer. Having said that, what I really want to write (with tongue firmly in cheek but not really kidding) is this:

Bah, why would I want a Rolex when I've got a Zenesis? I've got 10 different devices that can tell me what time it is: my phone, my computer, my damn microwave. But a Zenesis? Well, I don't have anything else that can do what it does :toast:

A Rolex does not "tell time".

A Rolex is for people that have transcended into the world of "ish"

Ask a man with a seiko "what time is it"? And he will tell you 11:44...

Ask the question of a Rolex owner... He will say "noon ish"

I just read through over 400 posts that went on since I was on last night. My gawd.

When I started reading the thread last week, I kept noticing how *miserable* OB seemed to be about his wait.

Now that I have read and seen what is on the horiZen, I think I need to join OB's support group....

*for lack of a better term*

Okay, I have finished a rough draft of an FAQ. Who wants to read it and tell me if I'm missing any important questions or have any glaring misinformation in it?

Also, I need to add picture links if that is desired.

I would like to read the FAQ too. Please :)

LE: Thanks Pchela

Ask me and I'll shrug and say "dunno" since any watch I put on my wrist stops working within a day.

The only blue county in Texas!
FAQ is looking great!

You might want to slip a mention of the adjusting switch position for the 1600 and 1800 mah AW IMRs though, in case people are wondering.
Ohh... I did not know about this. Can you give me a bit more info so I can put it in?

Zen~ I can't even begin to say how amazed I am by that post, you sir have definitely become one of the few people I truely RESPECT. I have an issue with the difference between respect and regard. Regard is to take into account ot to consider, and to show concern for something or someone. Respect is an advanced form of regard, it implies a sense of excellence, it is supposed to used to regard someone of honor and high esteem. The fact you handle yourself and your business with this kind of forthright openness, has earned my respect in the true meaning of the word. I don't respect many people, while I do hold many in high regard and I do my best to regard people in general, but respect is something earned.

Zen~ I respect you.

that sounds kind of strange now that I look at that....................

Not strange at all...I agree on all accounts, stuff your sorries in a sack zen they are in no way needed, you have exceeded our desires and expectations at every corner of this process!! Can't wait to buy ya a drink in Chicago
