It is really odd for me watching news of this storm. Being in Florida, I'm usually hyper-alert about hurricane news. I'm on the West Coast & the GrandBoys on the East, so I have to watch the whole darn state. But this time, Florida is totally skating. And so many of you are in the danger zone! Sorry I missed the fun of Junky's show; we were making zombies. Pics to follow...
Ian, if you really need an inverter (and UPS/USPS is still shipping out there), I've got a cheapie you can have. Used it to run my laptop-based GPS navagation system before I got a Garmin (about 10 years old). Handy, but easy to get here on the Left Coast so I'm happy to gift it out.

Anywho, let me upload the photos to Photobucket and you can all see how horrible my wife will be this Halloween...

On the top picture, all the gray has been masked off with a layer of clay covering the "positive" face cast of my wife. The red stuff is the actual appliance. When casting the foam, it forms over all the stuff, both sculpt and masking. We'll trim off the excess tomorrow (as well as do about 2 - 3 more foam casts for backups) and wash/powder it for application on Wednesday.

My wife's workplace is very Halloween-friendly; mine not so much. My zombie makeup won't be used until next weekend, which is why hers is being finished first.

Oh, and the "top" eye, that looks kinda mangled in the sculpt, is gonna have a dangling eyeball from it too. How gross can you get!

5/8 ID x 3/4 OD x 1/16 " works for the top cap

thanks, i found it on the hoh faqs, if anyone needs to know or write it down:

For both the standard and mini Zenesis, the tank o rings are 5/8" OD 1/2" ID x 1/16" and the cap o ring is 3/4" OD 5/8" ID x 1/16"

those sizes fit the ZAP too. my gf actually found some cool ones at a tattoo shop this afternoon that fit. I got some clear ones that glow in the dark, and she got some pink ones. If these glow in the dark ones actually work, ill post up some pics.

Is all ss mesh created equal? i did a wick tonight with some that just wasnt cooperating w/ me like the other mesh ive used while rolling it. I wanted to try a fat one, well as fat as i could with a thin insulator from a carto and it works pretty good once i got it rolled up, but i realised that it might have been the mesh that came w/ a chinese did clone. I can use this right? I have no idea what kind of mesh it was, the texture seemed a bit different but it seems to be working pretty good so far. TIA

I thought satelite was supposed to be like ultra fast?

it can be ok, but the ping times are terribad.

ripp which one did you try to get? i have pretty quick fingers and ive been able to get a few for my gf, let me know what kind you want and ill keep a look out for one for ya. my gf has already put me on drip tip duty since i get home before her most nights.

I know that all mesh is NOT created equal but someone with more experience than I will have to tell you the why's & wherefore's. I've yet to oxidize any mesh, at all. I throw my skirts over my head & count again, like a miser, how many pre-rolled, pre-oxidized Zen~ wicks are left in my arsenal.

I did buy mesh & Mike's cute little torch but no butane yet. As with so many areas of my life, I've no idea what I'm doing, lol.

I really want to apologize for tonight's show because I did get MORE then I could handle for PM's during the show. So for everyone that did not come in the show, I had a guy from Portugal in the room that had the same name for a former modder that ROBBED everyone for a lot of $, and everyone wanted me to take care of it. It turned out to be the wrong guy, and made me go and ask him if he was the one. It was a mess trying to juggle PMs and the room. Sorry for the confusion. But it turned out fine in the end. And got to see a new device that is coming out.

i wonder if its ok that im using this chinese mesh i started doing it to learn how, it was a lot easier than i thought, and fun, i like fiddling w/ things
