These subforums- this and the iHy thread, and a few others- are the most "alive" threads on ECF. Be proud of that- don't take what I said the wrong way. I think a better way to say it would be that these threads are loads of fun IF you're NOT here searching for info. So long as you're not, these threads are like the heart and soul of this place (excuse the cheesy metaphor, but its true), and y'all should be proud of your community.

Classies is it, for now. I think a new version is in the works, but not sure what that means yet.
From what I understand, the GUS will be available soon from a US vendor though. They are very similar devices (2 guys started making them and parted ways. One came out as the Paps, the other the GUS...).
Unfortunately for the ZAU pairing, I'm pretty sure the knurling on the locking ring is different (appearance-wise), but functionally the same.
I'm not sure the deal was final so I don't want to mention that vendor, out of respect to them, but sounded like it would be soon and somewhere around the $120 - $130 price range for the GUS.

Agreed, it'd be a solid device either way, but that really completes the package.
I'm not sure a picture even does it justice how closely they match. Even the feel of that knurling is the same, and the diameters of the two are dead on so it sits absolutely flush...

theres one on the classies now but he wants a provari mini for it (imo even though these are hard to get thats not a deal i would make) and the 18350 sleeve is not brushed/machined like Vapor's.
So I just wanted to let everyone know that I did get in contact with Slideonmyguitar yesterday, and he is fine. He has been without power, and I guess he is okay. I was nervous about him, as he was going surfin during Sandy, and then no one had heard back from him.
