Oh, yes, the whole purpose of the Caravela for me is to put the ZAU on top of it.

The only devices I have now are my 3 Zen hybrids (SS Mini, BAM, & cOBalt). Just feels like I ought to have another option besides hybrids. Of course, I know the ProVari has the most fans (& the VV option, which the Caravela does not) & I do like it but.... Well, the Caravela just seems more..., IDK, exotic, I guess. And, actually, I'm really attracted to the Brass. No, I won't be foolish enough to do the polished, but the brushed brass - ahhh! So pretty! And, yeppers, I LIKE the ship.

well then, i think missemma has the one you want to see hers is pretty damn sweet too, i didnt like the brass untill i saw hers w/ a zau on top of it

but i dunno, does brushed brass tarnish/need to be polished? i would be so ocd about that, which is why i prefer brushed/machined everything, the shiny chrome finish looks cool, but leaving fingerprints/tarnish behind on it would drive me insane

one very cool thing about brass though is if you scratch it/damage it, you can always polish the imperfections out of it.

MikeE3, one thing you need to keep in mind is, the fatter the wick, the more wire it takes to make a wrap. The more wire, the higher resistance. Try using 1 less wrap when using a fatter wick and that should reduce the amount of time it takes to heat the coil.

Guidance required: I have just received a care package from Rochester NY. One of the components is a spring to replace the magnets. I can't find instructions on performing this operation.

Is it as straight forward as it would appear?

a) remove magnets
b) insert spring
c) assemble switch
d) vape

Question: Is the bottom magnet left in?

I've also just discovered that I can sit the Zen vertical and the spring is strong enough to support the Thing of Incredible Beauty, joy and Vaping Excellence, etc, etc., without firing it. The opposite is also true being a sure fire every time, so far.
