Look at all the happy people that have worked through this... they are not all engineers and scientists... they are mechanics and housewives and legal professionals and retail store owners...

Don't forget 'retired little old lady' although in a previous life I was a business owner......

I'm glad you found a way to get it to work for you, but personally I'd rather not have to think about which way my vent hole is facing every time I take a drag - that would get old to me in very short order.

I'm sure Zen's design does not require this sort of orientation, although I haven't got mine to produce a satisfying vape yet, I have faith in the design.

When my vent hole is lined up with the wick, I pay it no attention. I know if my wick is facing down, the vent has no choice in the matter.(Besides, without my glasses, my arm would not be long enough for me to see that tiny sucker) I look for my wick the same way I do a switch on my other mods. When I pick it up, I look for the wick and I face it towards me. From that point on, I'll never look at again until I put it down and pick it back up. Once in my hand, I don't move it around, I just vape it like I stole it. LOL

I walk around with it in my hand, it doesn't move from ready position in my hand but that's not from being mindful of the wick, that's from having a firm grip on it as to not drop it.

I'm crossing all my crossables for you, hoping that things improve for you soon. I know you're just wanting that vape that everyone is talking about. We're here for you, vent, ask, cry, scream.......whatever it takes until you're up and running.

it's those kind of posts thar bewilder me ninfreak, I spent weeks trying to get it to taste good, and you just make it happen that fast. i am doing something really wrong,,,

i don't know what to say man. Once you break in the wick changing coils only takes a minute our 2 to break in the new coil. I get great taste right away. Most likely it is your coil... if any of it is loose where you can see through it you will get hotspots which will make it taste like crap once it dries up. Mine is nice and snug to the coil without cutting into it, i can still move the wick up and down through the coil but there are no air spots.

Got my mini...yeeeeaaaaahhh!!! Zenesis Mini # 0092 arrived home today!!!!!!

Thanks Zen!!! I just gotta say this APV is amazing!! I got it working really fast and easily. Now vaping for about an hour, wick seems good and broken in now...good flavor...massive vapor. I switched to one of the 325 wicks as I'm vaping bobas bounty 100% VG. Wrapping the coil and searching out the shorts was a little easier, as I've had about 2 weeks practice with "other hybrid" (katana). I got this up and going a lot faster. I really like the smooth button/switch.

The only bad thing...is that the mail man must've been really rough with my package :( There is a small chip in the tank at the base, below the o-ring. So, it doesn't seem like it should leak....I just hope the chip doesn't turn into a crack.... Makes me worried about trying to take it off/clean it. So hopefully I can get spare tanks soon.

Thanks again Zen...and ALLL the Zenfidels with all the trouble-shooting and tips posted by everyone....made this a lot easier..LOOOVE MY MINI!!!
