Most are going to tell you to use 325 mesh.....and it works good...

I use 80-90% VG DIY juice.....and all of my genisis mods have 400 in them with no issues.

Yup, #400 will work just fine in most cases. Many people just like the increased TH from the #325 mesh. I know I do :)

Got my zenesis two days ago and decided to put a kick in it.
Bad idea. It vapes great with a kick. But, I now have a kick I cannot
take out of the zenesis.
Can anybody tell me how to dismantle the genesis? Or is it impossible?

Actually it is not impossible to take apart unless the standard is built different then my mini in that regards. However, it will be nearly impossible for you with a kick blocking the allen head which is the positive terminal and holding the tank section onto the battery tube. As suggested, long needle nose or tweezers to grab it.

What....no pics?? SHEESH....

Sorry, it happened like OB said, he showed up when I least expected it

I had given up on meeting him last night, thought I'd have one more night without my standard... I went fully into my drinking, put some work in on a cougar at the bar, slid her a room key and note saying she should meet me up there in a few minutes..... Then as I'm heading to my room, I see Zen, kcos, and cigar babe sitting talking....I pull up a seat, ask zen if it's too late in the night (forgetting he is a night owl) to get my standard...I spent the next few hours learning how to " just leave it alone and enjoy" While hanging out with some really cool vapers!!

By the time I got to my room, I had completely forgotten that I had given a room key to that lady at the bar...I found a note on the bed that said "I was here waiting for you". then I was about to be upset I missed out, but I was so happy to have my apv, it was ok

there is so much about this post I love :)

I would like to make a comment about having a toy to play with instead of your "cougar" but I will refrain. Of course our leader is not here to edit it :)

where is our "official" first day report from the bashes?

I am assuming bumpi is still sleeping, or still partying :)
Official report is I have a headache!! I spent too much money, I left a woman waiting in my bed (usually I have to be there to disappoint lmao). But all is well because I woke up next to standard #0106

it wouldve all depended on the situation....does he have someone else waiting at home? it all depends HOW GOOD LOOKING the cougar was...smoking hot built like a brick $h!Thouse and no drink in him, no problem....but he's been drinking, beer goggles on....she probably wasnt that great in the first place, Zenesis was definitely a much better choice.. who knows...heeheehee

It would take a moderator to edit the first page, and Suppliers cannot put links of any kind in their signatures.
That is very unfortunate.

The issue of whether or not to manage thread size is neither new nor unique to this thread. It happens all the time and all over the web. On many, many forums, standard practice is to start a new "Part N+1" thread each time a post-count of 1000 is reached. The fact that this convention is commonly adopted voluntarily and not by mandate indicates it works well.

IMO, the length of this thread is a major impediment to most folks paying attention. It is especially a barrier to entry for new folks. How many people are gonna see a thread that is approaching 10,000 posts and decide to jump in? Almost nobody, that's who. Is that what you want?

The fact that a few folks like it being long and ungainly is IMO immaterial, as the thread is supposedly about the PV's and not about the 8-10 people who make 90% of the posts. (I'm sure a couple of them will flame me for stating this obvious fact, but I want to ensure that you hear from more folks than than just the Usual Suspects.)

Bottom line: my opinion doesn't matter. It's your thread, so it's up to you to decide what your priority is: the very small club of frequent posters who like watching the post-counter roll up, or the larger group of actual and potential PV customers who simply will not read a thread that consists of several thousand posts. Only you can answer that.

Perhaps you have decided by now, beats me... I have not read that far. I was offline for a week and it will take me *multiple hours* to catch up. As you know, I am an early adopter. As you may not know, I have read every post here. If it gives me pause to think about catching up after just a week, how do you think most people who are completely new react to a mega-huge thread?

EDIT: it was "approaching 10K posts" at the point when I wrote this. I see it is well over 10K posts now. And most of the posts are by the same folks. Anybody who thinks this comprises viral marketing doesn't understand what viral marketing is.

rshack,

I have to respectfully disagree.

If you look at the threads with the most loyal followers (reo's mods, GG's and copper creek) as three examples, I do not think the chit-chat or thread size has in any way impeded their growth.

Of course, that is why we created the group. It is there for those who just want information.

everyone is certainly entitled to their opinion though.

of course this is coming from someone who has himself made 62% of the posts :)

that last comment was just me being a smart-alec.

Just got some of Zen's Aussie Licorice eliquid in... I had high expectations, and it still exceeded them! It really is like vaping some high quality licorice - it even gives you that nice "tingle" that good licorice does.

It's actually very refreshing, and you don't get a bunch of licorice stuck in your teeth!

I was new to this thread a few weeks ago and I dove in from the beginning because I wanted to learn more about the Zenesis. I realize that most people do not have the time, patience or desire to read a huge thread like this and sift through it for information so I took all of the pertinent information (with help from some of the regulars) and compiled a FAQ specifically for those people who can't read the entire thread for information. I had hoped that would help the issue you are talking about. Ideally, there would be a link to the FAQ somewhere for the new people to plainly see - the first post would be great but Zen can not edit it unfortunately. If we could find an obvious and easily seen place to post that link, I think a lot of the issues you've talked about could be taken care of. To that end, anybody have any brilliant ideas about posting the FAQ link?

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...00-zenesis-hybrid-personal-vaporizer-faq.html

Other than that, if anybody comes into this thread and asks a question, they'll surely get a reply shortly thereafter so it's not all that difficult to get information here.

The info below is important and IMO not adequately disseminated. I'm guessing most folks think it's fine if their wraps glow more-or-less the same. But this is not true. As demonstrated in the response below, a difference in the amount of glow is diagnostic info about the presence of a short and serves as an invitation to take corrective action.

Question: Who knew that already?
Answer: Only a very few... which is itself a problem...

Now you're getting the hang of it!

Like I said all along... start with four... too hot? Add 1... too cool... remove one... you added two!

But...

There's a slight short in your top and bottom coil on that sixer... while it's glowing, give the top and bottom coil a lil poke with your syringe and free them up a little bit...

Your Fiver had a short on the bottom wrap... take a close look at your pictures and you'll see they are not glowing quite as much...

But other than that... REALLY nice job... and glowing coils sure are purty!
