I had thought Pchela's Poison ... but I dunno. Might scare people off!
very interesting. now in terms of airflow, how fast or slow would you recommend?

Oh by the way I am very happy with my Zenisis now. top notch. Top shelf APV. Keep on vaping.Have any of you had a grandparent that had a cast iron skillet. We'll I did. I made a big mistake and washed it. It wasn't pretty. Boy did I get a tong lashing. Reason being it was "seasoned". My point is I finally found my sweet spot 325 mesh with 3 coils that ohmed out at 1.5 ohm. which = 12 watts at 4.2 volts and 9 watts at 3.7v. Point being my coil is seasoned by build up. Crusty e juice residue. Kinda like grandmas cast iron skillet. Had a lot of current problems ie. not firing consistently. I bought some di-electric grease and lubed everything up and works alot better now. Di-electric grease conducts electricity and prevents corrosion. Point being 'dirty', for lack of a better term, is better. Also seasonig does take time. Mabe this will help people.Oh by the way I am very happy with my Zenisis now. top notch. Top shelf APV. Thanks! I'm so grateful to have all of you to help me! I hope to be the one helping other newbs before long!
Let's see - I followed Zen's instructions to the letter when I first got the Zini... juice, pulse, burn off juice, repeat. Checked for shorts... don't think I have any. Tried the light up the coils then tilt while still firing tip. Tried the light the coils on fire tip. Pulled the wick up a tiny bit from the bottom. Pushed a syringe tip through the coil opening. Thinned out original juice and have since tried 4 different juices of varying VG/PG levels. Um... I think that's it? I've tried every tip and trick I've read in these pages.
dont let it whistle...![]()
I have mentioned this before but would like zen to chime in here if possible.
Pull speed.
The zenesis seems like the pull is more "airy" as several have mentioned.
Although I was not used to the airy draw at first, I have grown used to it and even enjoy it now.
My main question is that I find that with the more airy draw, the slower I pull, the more vapor and flavor I get.
I am assuming that the zenesis is meant to work in this manner. I am wondering if zen can discuss the pull speed that is optimal for his device.
Thanks in advance![]()
Thank you Lorderos! I have been, and will continue to, vape on my Zini... I've been using it pretty much exclusively since I got it. I keep hoping for it to start wicking. I'd say I've vaped around 5 tanks or so with it so far. I keep asking questions because, you're right, I have no clue what to look for as far as problems and I don't know if the non wicking is a problem or something that just needs time. So, for now, I'm tilting it to get a hit and continue to watch the forum for useful advice like yours. I just don't know at what point I give up on this setup and start over. I don't want to till I have to!
It does sound like you have been patient enough with it to tear it down and start over. I saw the pic of your coils and they looked as good as I have ever seen, but maybe (just maybe) the coil burned like that just a touch too long and melted the PTFE slightly and so in turn clogged the wick. I would pull the coil off and not how hard it is to get the wick out. If it is stick then melted PTFE is the problem for sure.
From what I saw of your coils, you will have no problems getting a new one working perfectly. It's work it to check even this is not the problem![]()
The wick moves freely... I pulled it up slightly to make sure it wasn't touching the bottom of the tank. But - the coils are Zen's. I have not tried to make a coil yet! We shall see if I'm any good at it. I wouldn't be surprised though if the coil burned too long. I wasn't sure how long it could go so in the beginning I would only pulse it, but I did let it burn much longer a few times when I was futzing with it and also, I lit it on fire twice.
Sorry. Pchela. Spell check and I can't Change it for some reason![]()
