Longest flight of my life:

Anchorage>Vegas>Dallas>Atlanta>Inchon Korea.

Two days in airport or on plane. Not to mention I lost a day for crossing the international date line. Funny thing is the flight from Atlanta flew straight over anchorage. I guess that what happens when you let the government book your tickets.
I was gonna say, you went the wrong way around...shoulda zigged when ya zagged

What sucks is I leave at 7:30AM on the 10th....Finally land in Shenzhen, China at 11:30pm on the 11th....but that's losing a day for time change. And then have to be up at 5AM on the 12th to report to the nuke plant.

Don't say the word "nuke" while going thru security.....lol

There is never the need to tear off the coil and start over unless the coil has burned out or it's really old. Your best bet is to always work with the one that's on it, because the coil becomes easier and easier to manipulate as it ages in... never takes more than a few days usually, and once you get good at it, it's much quicker.

Also, a common misconception is that you need to get every coil glowing... well.. when the wick is brand new with no juice on it, that can happen... but if there is juice in the tank, the bottom coil or two may never glow because there's juice on it.

And Jen, it's not just you... people new at this need to resist the urge to start over when it's acting funny. I wonder if this is in the FAQ... it certainly should be!

It's in the FAQ now!

Have you tried setting it up and just vaping it for a few days. I know we want them working gloriously right after setting up a coil, but if all else fails, just using it and being mindful to tilt it to keep from getting that dry hit can work wonders. Since I am not right there, and everything does look and sound right, that may just be what you need.

I can get them going perfectly and have them broken in and vaping like fog machines in about 10 minutes, but I have been using Genisis mods exclusively for well over a year.

Any shot you could video your next set up on the zenesis, and 10 min break in.....I'd def watch that, took me a few tanks

Sure, no problem. It may take a a while though, my mesh/wick assemblies tend to last a few months at a minimum.

I may just make one for the sake of the video tutorial :)

bumpi it's basically zen's video with holding it upside down(well 45 degrees) afterwards to get the wick to flow. that's exactly what i do too. zen's video plus hold it upside down. i don't want to be mean or rude, but you all are seriously overthinking everything, i did too at first but when i went back to basics it all worked, listen to zen. Leave it alone and it will work. Give it time

Oh no, I got the "just friggin vape it talk" a few times I'm pretty much good on it...didn't take the top off once through my whole last tank,...just thought the more vids we can post here would only help others shorten the learning curve

The wick insulator is PTFE, correct?

If so, what are the dimensions? I'd like to buy some spare tubing. Just in case. :D

McMaster-Carr

That is not the correct tubing.

Try this: Mesh Insulator [PART-PTFE] - $1.00 : Zen Cart!, The Art of E-commerce

By the way, the eCommerce site is up without any products in inventory. Zenfidels may log in and put products on notification, so when they come in stock you will get an email indicating they are available for purchase.

Some items will go live this weekend.
