3 Zen's and 3 broken tanks. What are the odds on that. Should have played the lotto.

Unfortunately fairly high. It's a glass tank that's slightly bigger than the OD of the metal body with nothing to shield it. I absolutely love my zenesis when I can actually use it, but it's currently holding down a coffee mug at my house while a vape an ego at work. I've already dropped the ego 3 times between 6 and 9. The zene tank can NOT withstand my job or even come close much to my dismay. A solid tank (which I belive zen is working on) would be fantastic for me. Even then, I suppose I'd have to get a holster of sorts to keep the cap from popping off every 3.245 seconds.

It's a brilliant, elegant and beautiful device, but not so work friendly for those of us who aren't desk jockeys :p

Well then why can't we run a genesis atomizer at 7.4, or even 6 volts?

You're on thin ice here and you should read the ECF rules regarding behavior in a suppliers thread...

Here's the bottom line...

If ya can't see the difference between a thin steel wire wrapped up in a coil and two chunks of metal making contact without a spring in between there's not much else I can say... Pop a high current battery into the equation and the understanding that ANY series resistance will be less desirable than NO series resistance, well... this basically comes down to somebody wants to be argumentative, and I have no time for that.

At the end of the day there's real science behind the decisions I made while designing the PV. If you don't agree, that's fine... if you do agree... that's great too... but I'm not going to get into a debate over it.

If you want one of My PV's buy one when you can.

If you don't... get out of my thread or I'll have a Moderator remove you.

I'm fine with you pushing my buttons as long as they're the button on the bottom of MY PV... Any other buttons and we're gonna have real problems.

you really need a polycarbonate tank. do you have a way to get or make one?

also, yesterday I purchased a cheap nylon knife holder, slit a hole in the top so that the drip tip could poke through for my mini. It holds the cap in place and is super thin so I can keep it in my pocket.

I'm curious about the discussion re lubricating the threads. They are so lovely, silky-smooth right now. Should I use Naolox or Vaseline to keep them that way? I have both. Don't start, ya'll. I have both in normal, minimal quantities.

Oh, and quotes: One of my favorites is by the author, Tom Robbins. Goes like this, "It's never too late to have a happy childhood."

I'll behave, no need to have any forum administrations intervene here.
But in all honesty and strictly theoretically, why won't genesis mods work at 6v? I agree that 3.7v is definitely adequate to power our mesh wick atomizers, but I just haven't come up with any sort of a logical explanation as to why a 10 wrap 32g coil around a genesis atty will pop at 6v, but the same coil will hold up fine when wrapped around a silica wick. Does the oxidization just not hold up?

You just won't let it go will you?

First off in order to get 6v or above you have to stack batteries (no vv or kick) and stacking is "BAD". These devices are designed around a single battery for safety and you adjust your coil wraps accordingly. There is no need for higher voltages which can be potentially dangerous to the user.
Everybody states venting will prevent this but in stacked batteries there is always the chance that one of the batteries will swell and prevent the venting hence the build up of pressure.
So please give the high voltage thing a rest. It is not needed especially on this APV.

And I'm really not trying to disrespect you here Zen, I'm just curious, and have been since I first tried out a Line v1 4 months ago

Read back in thread man....zen said no stacking batts in his APVs, it is unsafe behavior and not needed (if you want hotter vape use three wraps and 3.7v not 12 wraps and plug it into the wall).. It's like saying "I can cram twice as much gunpowder in this bullet so I could super kill what I'm shooting at" but you might end up killing yourself....the designer built this thing to be used one way, and it works that way...this is one mousetrap that can't be improved on, if you had on in hand you'd realize that....I'd wait till you have one in hand and use it for a month b4 you challenge zen, ya don't wanna be the third person on his blacklist

Edit: mr P types faster than me

Agreed, definitely don't wanna get blacklisted! I'm aware of the safety risks and I don't intent to stack bats in my standard (whenever I get it), but I guess I'll just drop it and re-post my quandary elsewhere.
