I know the feeling. I swap batteries on my zenesis when they get to 3.7, that's about when the performance drops for me. Takes about 10 hours of normal (for me) vaping to get there. I might need to go to 3 wraps but think it might be to harsh at 4.2 when the battery is fully charged.

After they come out of my zenesis they get set aside for use in my provari so I use the full charge before having to plug them into the charger.

This is the only reason I have considered getting a kick. But I have gotten into a routine of cycling batteries so I don't really need it.
Do u just guess that the battery is at 3.7V or take it out and test it? I have two kids in diapers and I forget things. I like the Provari cause it never lets me forget. Thought I read some place that the battery was most at risk of explosion when its almost dead?

When the IMR batteries reach the 3.7 level, you'll start to notice the difference in the way you're Zenesis is vaping. Vapor production will start dropping, you won't be getting as good of a hit from it, those things will be your indicator that you probably need to change your battery.

IMR batteries don't explode from over discharge, they just don't recover from it. Meaning, when you over discharge your IMR (below 3.0) you shorten the life of it.

I'm a busy grandmother of a toddler, I have him all day long while his parents work, and trust me when I say that I know how busy you are but it takes less than a minute to pop out your battery and meter it. Or, if you notice a difference in the way your Zenesis is performing and don't have that minute to check your battery, just pop it out and put another one in. The other battery can wait to be checked. :)

Hi all. I received my mini yesterday and it appears that the battery has some play in it, as it rattles when I shake it up and down. Is this normal?

There's a little in my standard, I don't worry about it now....:)

Thanks for the tips on the tips, kcos!!!

Hi all. I received my mini yesterday and it appears that the battery has some play in it, as it rattles when I shake it up and down. Is this normal?

Mine too, but this is how I fixed it:

I stopped shaking it like a maraka and now I see no evil & hear no evil!

(At least until I have a pair of Zeneses and feel like getting musical)

Patient - Doctor, doctor, it hurts when I do this! (imagine the patient moving their arm up and down)
Doctor - Well, then don't do that!

I found the medium switch tension setting ideal, but found getting consistent firing wore out my pinky. To reduce the switch throw distance I did add 1 washer (from the tool bag) under the screw head in the magnetic switch assembly (carefully do this, hold the whole button/cap together firmly, remove screw, add 1 washer (not 2 washers; the other is a spare), then screw it back together without letting go until tight.

I find the medium setting with 1 washer is like butter and 99% of the time I get effortless firing and find it to be the perfect throw distance when I squeeze the apv into my pinky.

The battery will still rattle, but I never hear it.

Enjoy your Zenesis, and congrats!

Oh... and by the way...

Zpro.jpg

I just got my Provari upgraded and a new window put in (had the old bubble style window that crumbled). I essentially have a new unit, so this will be a great addition!
