Ok, let's get something straight...

This is the house of hybrids thread... It's a place to present the products that are sold by the house of hybrids.

I have been really patient with letting things get off topic, because frankly I like the casual nature of the thread... I'm good with that.

Additionally, I have dedicated the time and resources to support zenesis owners as they work through issues on learning how these devices work... It's called good customer service. I like to think that through this product launch you've seen customer service that is actually uncommon with these sorts of devices.

I am now going to say something that may upset people... So be it...

If I am willing to have the patience to work through these issues... I respectfully request that my good customer service be reciprocated with good customer behavior.

The snipping at each other will stop... Period.

If somebody tries to help you... You will thank them for trying, even if you're frustrated... Period.

Even if they are wrong and even if you are at wits end.

If you cannot be kind and appreciate the efforts of others then you should simply say nothing.

This note is to everybody that can't see the value of this community and that doesn't value it as I do.

You have every right to ask for help, preferably in the group, where help can be administered... But I will no longer tolerate bickering with people that have tried to help, and I will no longer allow it to derail this thread.

If anybody has an issue with anybody else... Take it to pm.

Keep it out of my store...

Yes, this is the same thing as walking into my place of business, and fighting with each other.

Stop it immediately, or I'll get a moderator to explain to you how things should work in a supplier thread.

Also...

The February list closed on January 15.... An early feb order means you've been waiting a heck of a lot less than people that got in the lists in December. If you lack the patience to be on a preorder list... Don't get on one. I don't have the time to design PVs, build PVs, help people with problems AND send reassuring notes to 400 people on the lists telling them everything is going to be ok.

This is a part time business that now consumes 40-50 hours per week while we get things rolling... I can do a lot, but I'm not a super hero... let's be realistic about your expectations, please. If you asked to be on a list while the list was open, you will get a PV... I promise.

Yep, As I reach the end of delivering the PVs to those that have paid for them, I will not be pressured into the situation I found myself in during February.

When your PV is ready to ship... Completed and tested... I will contact you for payment. Not a minute sooner.

A marchie will have the option of taking their PV with the existing switch, or wait until new switch parts arrive before shipping. If they want it now, the new switch parts will ship to them later.

That's all... There is no need to ask when you will get your PV... You will get it when it's ready. If you get the payment request and you have moved on and no longer want it, just let me know and the next guy gets it.

Dealing with hundreds of PVs asking me WHEN, will only result in EVERYBODY being delayed while I'm dealing with it.

I have REALLY tried to be patient with some people that seem to feel that sending several PMs will somehow speed things up, and it has to stop.

Was this the wrong thing to post now?

Probably.

Was it the right thing to post... I hope so.

I just want to say one last thing...

I feel, and so do many others... That the Zenesis Hybrid PV is the easiest hybrid to use and maintian ever made... I also feel its a great example of the best work I can do. And it is still being improved...

But I'm not shipping you a device that will make you run faster, jump higher or be more popular amongst your peers. It probably won't improve your social status nor will it help you lose 50 pounds. It doesn't slice or dice and it surely doesn't make mounds and mounds of julien fries.

It will not tell you the Rosicrucian secrets... And it probably won't improve your gas mileage.

As you have seen in the thread... Some will immediately love it... Some will immediately hate it and others will fall in the middle. Just like everything else in life. It is what it is.

I am proud to have built it... Many are proud to own them... Your mileage may vary.

There is NOTHING here worth bickering about.

</rant>

Excellent post & at exactly the right time thank you :toast:

Well..... I just have to say, my Standard arrived today. I unpacked it, cleaned it, did the drops and burns 3 or 4 times like Zen suggested and it's vaping like a freight train. It has the orginal coil and wick and it won't broke so I didn't attempt to fix it.

The only issue (and it's not really an issue) and I'm NOT complaining at all just wanted to make Zen aware. Mine didn't have the spacer in the swithch for some reason (probably all the preasure we've put him under). I'm good with that tough thanks to some other Zenfields I have a work around and it's vaping like a monster. (and I'm aware you're sending replacement switches).

I was only a little harsh for about a half an hour or so then it's just pure flavor and vapor.

I'm verry satisfied with the Zenesis Standard and look fwd to gettin my Z-Atty-G Daddy when there ready.

I haven't scowered ever page in a while so someone may have already posted this but I did learn fairly quick that it seems to vape the best with the airhole facing down. Onece I figured that out all the harshness and burn tase faded away to vaping bliss.

Thanks agan Zen for all the hard work you've put into this!

Jay

Agreed, I will wait or whatever is necessary. I will even wait longer if you need to send out replacements.

On a different note all together: Man who was trying to trade their AL Zen for a mini? I wish convinced them to send it to me and I would buy them a mini. LOL I really want one. Hey Zen~ are you getting many of the AL sent in for upgrades to the new version, any chance of a second hand sale ;) I don't expect you to be able to answer for a few weeks, but if you get a chancce I won't complain if you give me an answer :)

Who wanted to trade the aluminum for a mini?

Anybody with an aluminum standard may trade for stainless if they are the original owner.

So far nobody has done it.

wow, that video was the best I have seen yet. very good job explaining and it gave me more confidence watching how fast you can make a coil. I will never make one that fast because my oversized mits won't fit, but needle nose, and skewr stix should do the trick. I am one of the last febuary list since i waited till the last minute to get my name in, but it's going to be dishwasher clean!. Don'T tell OB that im on the west coast, best if he just thinks it's a foggy day. You held out farrr longer then I would have Zen, I tend to be a little blunt and straight foward so your patients has not gone un-noticed.

I have built a few of those pen cap genesis, yea the vape amazing, actually still the only device I HAVE to beat the 306DCA so far, but I haven't gotten my linev2 or my Zenesis. As far as whether or now I know the genesis tech, I doubt I know as much as Zen~, or many of the other modders who have been actually making them for the last year. But after working on the Zenesis FAQ (and giving up on it) and After working on the article about trouble shooting all the different versions of and incarnations of it. I even went to a bunch of the international forums doing research on them.

There are probablyh a few genesis systems I haven't seen yet, but I will find them lol. Yes genesis atties have become one of my autistic obsessions, so I will probably never stop collecting them, even after Zen~ or someone elses makes them obsolete. I am sorry Ecitek is having issues, and I hope he gets them resolved, but I think it is for the best that I keep my advice to myself, or offer it over at wall were people are willing to listen to a ...... like me. Zenfidels I will always be one of you, but I don't think I will be posting that much here, so mark your calenders it is a holiday, it is the day the ZENation freed itself the taint of KARMA! Peace, much love to my friends, I will still be on ECF, but as far as my ZENantics I am going to be restricting them to graphitti over at the Wall.

dont even think of leaving karma!!!!!! i think you know u belong here.....like OB, you may say you are gonna leave but youll be back to help entertain all your zenfidel bretheren

The wick appears to be wet and working and it does not turn bright red unless I hold the button down for a long time. I burned it for about five or six minutes and then about five minutes more. Still tastes terrible.

I know this is a silly question but... Is the air hole right in front of the wick?

Solid post, Zen~ and don't worry, there is light at the end of the tunnel.

YOU GO ZEN~

!!! >KER-RACK< !!! >ZAM< !!! >KA-POW< !!!

This is the forum equivalent of having done the 1...2...3!!! That's it, all naughty children to time-out NOW!!! Or no new toys for you :)

I hate to make light of it, and unfortunately this did need to be said. You have been stellar and deserve nothing but praise and thanks for a job well done, outstanding work ethic, dedication to quality first regardless of what gets in the way and customer service that simply cannot be beat. I for one appreciate this very much.
