im set for vaping supplies for years and years... got enough diy juice for the next year or 2..... 75 feet of kanthal plus what zen gave us. 1 sheet plus the wicks sent us. now i just have to buy everything zen comes up with lol
hmmm... do you vape your zenisis all the time or just here and there. I ask because it could be that the wick has not completely broken in yet. You could also try the tape over the hole in the cap and poking a smaller hole in it. Your vaping style might not be drawing enough liquid up the wick so a smaller air hole might be what you need and the tape method is recommended to test since if that does not help then you may not want to permanently mod your cap.

I am willing to admit if the wick is not fully broken in yet.
What I have done:
The upside down and burn, but did I do it enough?
Opened the top of the mesh some.
Turned the hole so it is directly over the wick.
(vapor production greatly improved, but was still getting dry hits every 3rd or 4th hit)
Re-taped over the hole/poked a smaller hole in the tape.
I usually, with other mods, hold the button, draw for 2 or 3 seconds inhale/exhale through nose while drawing for 4 or 5 more seconds. (I like my nic, don't judge me).
With this one, doing that "tasted" wrong, so I have been holding the button, drawing for 2 or 3 seconds and letting the button go.
I intentionally chain vaped after doing all of the above, and while I'm still not getting much taste, vapor is up and I got up to about 10 draws before starting to get a metallic like taste, but I wouldn't call it a dry hit.
This tells me I'm almost there. With this wick/coil anyway. LOL
Damn it Zen, if you tell me all I had to do was move the hole and tape it up a little, I'm gonna kick the dog!
And lorderos, if it's all because I wasn't sucking hard enough....
well, I'm not gonna touch that one.
*no dogs were harmed during the vaping of my ZPV

I didn't, only because I didn't know it.
But Shaitaan posted that he was using the same ecto plasma and it's 70/30 pg/vg.
well phooey! In trying to get caught up, reading last page first and going backwards (tapatalk takes me straight to where I left off, but the pc doesn't), and somewhere about 7 pages in I noticed at the top of the forum a new link that says "VIEW FIRST UNREAD"!! Yay!!!! Finally!!! Now it'll be more user friendly like tapatalk!! Well... that was a shortlived yay, because when I clicked on it, it took me back to the Last page where I had started first. haha.

I like the idea of starting a new thread with all the pertinent facts in the first post, such as the FAQ, prices, etc... and I also like the idea of linking the FAQ on your website. It'll make it a breeze for those we send to your site to find the info. I love this thread, but it's a hard one to keep up with and I really feel for the newbies. Shoot, I feel for me. Can someone describe my Standard for me please, I've forgotten the details lol. Which grade of Stainless Steel? Surgical SS? Time to reread the thread perhaps...

I am using vg on the wick and wire #33 came with. Monster hits holding it straight out from my face, wick down.
After it sits(wobbles) a while, before hitting it, I turn it sideways, wick down, and marvel for a moment at the awesome.
3 or 4 huge hits, slight pauses to savor everything, a couple more and give it a break. Moderation is the prime path of zen.

If you don't get satisfaction soon... I'm going to suggest the unthinkable...
Watch the video and pop in a new mesh and coil.... you should be fine with 400x400, and you'll have to eventually learn how anyway... no time like the present!
Sometimes that's what needs to be done! (though admittedly, it's rare on a new mesh)
I may just do that... just not ready to give up yet.
I'm a stubborn gal.
I know juice is getting around in there, after those 10 hits in a row the inside of my lips are itchy/burny like I got juice on them.
And no worries on modding my cap, I have neither the tools nor the know how.
I'll stick with the tape for now. lol
