ive been in there spreading the word lol im really bored today. made 250mls worth of juice, cleaned my standard and ran out of stuff to do.... ill be hanging around in there to give them some zenfidel love and wit. lol

HAHA! Sounds like my day!

Cleaned all of my attys, mixing up 100ml each of the 3 juices I plan to take to China with me, pre making a few wicks (just in case)....it's hard trying to cut down to bare essentials when you are used to having everything you need at your fingertips!

Now if I could only win that Zenesis tonight!

I decided to redo my wick as I felt that I had rolled it a little too tight and there just wasnt a hole running across the wick. SO I tried pulling out the wick and I figured it was stuck. I had to really pull it out hard, and when I did so, the plastic tubing (dont really know what specific material it is) around the wick came off along with the wick! On close observation, it seems like the material had melted and gotten stuck to the wick and just wouldn't come off. I had to tear out the wick from the top side bit by bit and then pulled it out from the other side. The tube is still intact and I have put it back and rolled a new wick using the paper clip method to retain the hole.

Has this happened to any of you?

Also, I am now curious, what material is the tube really made of? Is it not heat resistant enough to not melt?

I've not seen any problems with the grommet melting or getting soft.....the only way I imagine you are seeing that is if your wick was badly shorted

Well it wasn't badly shorted, but did have a tiny hotspot there. One of the things I noticed when I first got my mini and decided to pull the wick out to wash out the machine oil, was that one part of the tube that protrudes out from the base a bit was burnt brown, only a tiny bit though. Do you think I need to cut the tube a bit and flatten it out with the base? As in it's current form, it stays about 1 to 2 mm above the base.
