I've had problems with the switch binding and inconsistent contact if I tighten the screw enough to make it stable. Loosening it enough to consistently fire, and not bind, makes it work itself loose as you use it, unstable when standing on end, and it will sometimes fire when on end, unless you unscrew the end cap a couple of turns. Been trying to find a sweet spot with the screw, but no luck yet.

That is odd, because with mine if I tighten the screw all the way in it is good. Maybe a washer under the screw head would allow you to tighten it all the way and still contact the battery reliably. :)

So, I'm sitting here wondering why my Mini won't fire, even after I tried using two hands.......and the answer is because I finally looked at what I was doing and discovered I have the Provari in my hand...........guess that evens out the times the Mini won't fire because I can't find the button........I think it's time I went to bed..........

The Ody works amazing but good lord is that thing over-engineered.

I'm not gonna bash the Ody, but it could have been done better ;)

agreed.......I do think they work good, but not 'amazing' :p wicking for long periods of time just does not work, and the Non resistance wire-resistance wire part gets old quick for me...the type of wicking still leaves a muddled taste to any juice vaped in them, and moreso, the more you vape on the same wick and coil.. even after 'attempted' coil and wick cleanings (yes i'm very thorough), I still have to change out the wick at least every other week...not so with SS wick and coil set-ups

And that *SUCKS*. I hope I at least have a line into buying a new switch before the general public can.

lol go to the zenfidel group and read zen's list....if ya keep up with the thread, you'd already know that is not necessary, as he's shipping everyone a new 'adjustable' switch free of charge, with mailer that you have to send the old one back to him in...

Try to slightly booger the threads. Take a fork from the kitchen or something and run it lightly over the threads no so much that its screwed, up but enough that it is tight when you screw it in. Also I would recommend that you have an Xtra screw in case you screw it up. harware store should have some. get 3-4.

not a good idea to do as Zen~ will be using most if not all the parts of the old switches for other projects....

i used a couple pieces of plastic under mine, when the screw was tightened, the plastic mashed a bit down, and brought the screw head up slightly, making better contact with the battery, even better for the 1600mah versions...i've already passed on that quick fix to a few folks already...

I've been pondering the warranty and upgrade issues for used PVs...

Should I or shouldn't I have warranty and upgrades transferrable...

And in my mind, this comes down to what am I doing... Standing behind MY customers, or my products.

My original thought was customer first.... MY customers.... Not second hand customers.

Then I thought about it... The best thing to do for MY customers is to make sure that if they decide to sell their zenesis PV that they can get the best possible resale value. Having a fully transferrable warranty helps to guarantee that the PV will have the maximum resale value.

So, without further delay, here is the warranty for the Zenesis PV.

Our transferrable Limited Lifetime APV Warranty

House Of Hybrids will replace any defective part*, free of charge, for as long as you own your PV. This warranty does not extend to damage through improper use, improper cleaning, weather, neglect, abuse, modification, disassembly, or falls.

The House Of Hybrids line of Advanced Personal Vaporizers is protected by warranty against defects only (damage not included).
.
*A defective part is defined as a defect or flaw that inhibits the correct use of the product. Normal wear and tear of a product is not covered under the defective parts clause in the House Of Hybrids Transferrable Lifetime Warranty. In the event of Non Warranty Repairs, Replacement parts are available for a nominal fee. The Fused Quartz Tank glass is not covered by this warranty.

Except as set forth above, no other express or implied warranty of any kind or nature are given by House Of Hybrids in connection with the purchase or use of a Zenesis Advanced Personal Vaporizer. In no event shall House Of Hybrids be liable for special, incidental or consequential damages arising from the ownership or use of any Zenesis Advanced Personal Vaporizer.
.
