iv'e seen quite a few vendors that use this, most of the ones i use actually. It is not bad software for being free. One of the biggest issues is being secure though, but i'm sure zen is already ahead of us with that. He's always a step ahead, it's everyone else he has to deal with that is a step behind

As long as updates are installed when they come out, it's secure... and the payment gateway (authorizeNet) handles the secure transactions.

Last of the Febbians, Zen, Last of the Febbians...

Ok, finally me and the delivery guy could match our schedules and I was able to get my hands on the Standart #33, nice :toast:

I think now that I got mine, it makes it so, that all we Febbies have finally got our Zenesis.

I spend 10 minutes and 10ml of VG base to set up the coil, made the mesh wick and juice flow, burned, tilted, pulsed, sang and danced the vaping juice raining dance. Put the cap on and now I´m vaping away. Hopefully the mesh and coil will brake in, in few days.

The draw is nice open, it´s like the one I have in my "FinnishSpecial". The hole in Hannas brain child is larger but you´ll pull the air thru the mesh. No dry hits, no burnt metal taste. Waiting for the flavor to set in.

Man this thing is small, I knew the dimensions but still, it´s just small, I like it.

Thanks Zen :vapor:

Also Kcos, thank you for the nice Tips you send me :thumb: The Trippy is very nice and fits well with the Zenesis. The other stainless one matches the finish of the Zenesis very well. Now we only have to hope that when the Ti comes around you´ll find a tip that matches the finish Zen comes up with.

Thanks ;)

OK, that makes sense then. Try pulling the wick and heating it with a torch. Let it glow red for 15-20 seconds and then quickly dunk it in water. The wick being red hot will not burn you, but be careful with the water, it will shoot up the wick so really, just drop it in a shot glass full of water (or something equivalent). Do this 3 or 4 times. I am betting that the first 2 times you do this you will notice what looks like little embers on the wick. This is juice gunk and carbonization and what does not burn off will be shocked off by the water. Once you have done this, heat it once more to be sure there is no water left on the wick. Now add a few drops of juice to the coil Wick and light it on fire. The coil will get red hot, do not quench in water during this step (you may want to use a tweezers or unbent paper clip hold the wick during this step, we don't want you to get burned).Do this until when you drop juice on the wick it gets sucked up instantly. This can be as few as3 or as many as 10 cycles. Now wet the wick once more and put it into the Zenesis and re-wrap a news coil. Fix any shorts (drop juice on the wick as needed to prevent overheating on spots that are shorting).Once the shorts are gone, tilt it about 45 degrees with the wick down and the vent hole up and fire the coil continuously till the juice starts running down the wick. You should be in vaping heaven within 10 drags. This works for at least 90% of the time. Like I said before, there is always that occasional stubborn wick :)
Pretty sure you meant wick and this a good FAQ, The dunking seems to Really help the Flavor and wicking !!!

ECF has adopted the ZEN~ terminology for PV's

For some time many of us have been looking for an alternative new name for mods, because it is a low-rent name for the McClarens of the ecig world. It is a cheap trashy name for something that is often made over here and can be of the highest quality. These devices are not hacksawed-up flashlights any more and their name needs to show that.

People racked their brains but nothing good came up. Then one or two suppliers started to use the term APV, Advanced Personal Vaporizer, and it looks good. Several people have said it does the job for them, so we are going to move over to that term here.

You can expect to see more references to APV here from now on. The InfoPages has already changed over, and we will be changing forum titles from Mod to APV. At first (for a long time) there will be dual use.

You can use it or not, as you wish of course. It's just a way to improve the image of the high-end models, as 'mod' is a cheap name for something that costs $250. Also we need to counter some of the mini cig-clone vendors who are saying that these models are not e-cigarettes - and the name helps them, as it sounds as if these units are home-made or bodged up in a garage workshop. Why help people who are attacking you.

At first it will sound really, really weird. Later on - not so much.

Don't know if you are interested, but there will be a get together in the Richmond, VA area 28Apr. Will gladly set it up for you... If interested send me or Blackbird a PM.

That sounds like a possibility. Our DC area vape meet is usually around that time too. I'll have to see if they clash or not.
