Only Zen can say for sure, but from what I gather...he hates the gouger not the gougee. It's not your decision to pay someone a ridiculous sum for a Zenesis that is deplorable, it's the act of profiteering from unintentional scarcity that is deplorable. There will come a point in the not so distant future when supply and demand equalize...and at that point you may feel silly for having spent your money on nothing but lining the pockets of a profiteer, but I don't think Zen is the kind of person to punish you for your impatience. Chastise, perhaps.

But keep this in mind: Those who would gouge others for products, thus in effect generating a larger profit for themselves than the actual designer of said products, can ONLY do so because there are people naive or impatient enough to pay them the price. You contribute to the negative profiteering situation by buying from profiteers.

I just got home from Vapestock so I really tired, but I just wanted to drop in. I just wanted to say it was awesome meeting all the Zenfinels at there. A lot of people were checking out my Zenesis that never have seen them b4. It was really amazing. We all wish Zen~ could have came, but it was amazing anyhow.

lets hope your right about the first part, but im sure the quality of the product wont need a warranty but i guess it would be nice to have just in case

You know, no one here really knows the answer to that, but it doesn't sound like something the zenmaster would do. I can see a situation of someone being completely innocent, not knowing zen~'s feelings on this subject, and just wanting a wonderful new Zenesis they have heard wonderful things about and being willing to pay whatever it takes to get one. Not everyone lives on the HOH thread and all they know about the Zenesis is what they see or hear from other people. MOST people do not know he hates his products to be scalped for huge profits. The SELLER KNEW IT, but who's to say you did?

I can't speak for Zen specifically but he has said the warranty is transferable. >however< Tanks break due to mishandling, magnets break due to mishandling; those things aren't covered under the warranty. If the previous owner broke them it's your own pocket money to replace them. The minis haven't has issues with the switches, it was the very early standards. So, really.. shouldn't have any need to use the warranty anyway. Once you replace the tank it should work fine and dandy.

Jason, my concern was that you are going to lose a bunch. If you try to re-sell it for what you paid for it. That would probably still be considered a perpetuation of the problem. But congrats on getting a zenesis
