I know the Zen Alert says the ASH will be shipping today but I have not received a shipping notice yet. I just checked the Zen Alerts and it still says it is shipping today so I am hoping it did in fact ship and we just didn't receive email notification yet. I also checked Zen's posts and quickly scanned them all and didn't see anything had changed and he hasn't been on since 08/05 with any new updates. Any one know for sure if it is still shipping today? Starting to worry a bit that it may be delayed again. :(

The engraver went on vacation. They will most likely be delayed until next week.

As for the wick insulator issues people are having. I myself used the insulator for about 2 days, and realized that it was choking the mesh wick for me. I know others swear by it, but I like others find that it is not hard to oxidize the wick proper. You then don't have to worry about shorting out there. All of my other genesis attys don't have an insulator, and work fine. Plus like someone else said, without the insulator, the mesh wick can be nice and fat, which in my experiences allow for better wicking. I don't even have to tip the Standard with it, so it works for me.

that is the least surprising thing I have heard you say ever considering your arsenal of goods. :)

not that I am one to talk.
I vaped the very 1st one months ago for one evening and could never get a coil right. My skills have improved, lol even if only slightly, so I thought I'd try again. Almost forgot I had them till you brought it up :)

trust me, I know the feeling :) If I did not get so attached to inanimate objects, I could make some money. :)

Shoot, I wish I would have thought of that before setting up a trade. That might have done the trick with the wicking issues I had. I almost did the cheescloth method, but it seemed like a lot of extra work to *have* to do.
I think I'll be happier with the new set up anyway. The Standard is so heavy for me personally.

Here, here! That is the problem I have been having for days. Why weren't you here three days ago to tell me this, Junky?

Hey all!
Sorry to hear about the dentist, peach. I am putting off going to mine for just that reason.
And junebugg....ouuuuuuuuuuuch! Take care of that!
Always good to see ya, K-man, tybin, rat, Russ and everyone else lurking here.
Getting nervous bout my mini coming.
I did the stupidest thing...accidentally ordered 2 kitchen torches from Amazon. They are great but sure don't need em both. Wonder if I could sell one in the classies.
Well, at least it cooled down today.
Happy vaping, all my friends!
