Thanks for the welcome! :)

So this is my first genesis style device. There was already a wick and coil installed when I got it, so I gave it a fill. It's not working all that great right now. Don't worry, I'm not discouraged. Just going to take some practice. Main issue is it's not really wicking that great. Any tips for better wicking? Thinking about pulling this wick and coil out and doing one on my own as it was a bit sloppy and might have too many coils (5).

Main concern right now though is the button. This is also my first bottom button and it's a bit strange. It seems like the throw could be a touch lighter. Also, the button wiggles around quite a bit. when I sit the Zen on the button, it wobbles all over the place. Any tricks to get the button nice and solid?

Thanks!

What number is it, you may have one of the original switches..

A new wick will take a little time to break in.

In the meantime, make sure you are vaping at 2 or 3 o'clock. Once it's broken in, you can vape at 4 or 5 o'clock.

Put a tiny pinch in the very top of the wick. Zen says this will hold more eliquid against the coils.

Make sure your air hole is in a direct line with the wick. Even a little bit to one side or the other will make a difference in the taste.

Always vape with the air hole pointing down. This keeps the wick in the juice.

When the Zen in stored standing upright, make sure the wick is still in the juice.

You don't want the bottom switch of the Zen to be without movement. That is how the switch works. Hold the Zen in your fist, put the bottom on your pinky, and make a fist. It will fire every time like this.

Clean the switch with a qtip and Iso Alcohol, 91%, every week to keep it clean of carbon build up which will effect efficiency of the switch. You might also want to give the switch crevices a quick swab with a dry qtip every couple of days.

hey ryd, as we are both new and seemingly having the same issues, remember to message me if you find a trick or tip thats real good and ill do the same.
one that landlord gave me, is you want the coil loose enough that you can slightly slide the wick up nd down, but tight enough that it wont wiggle around.

but yea if anyone has a stiff draw cap layng around, PLEASE pm me, lol

Jeff, make sure the top of the wick is no higher than the positive screw head and pintch the top of the wick with your nail, vaping at the 3 o'clock position will soon flood the wick/coil and then drip out the air hole otherwise.

Also make sure the air hole is lined up with the wick itself and have the air hole facing downward when vaping.

Make sure the wick is not touching the bottom of the tank.

Only fill the tank 3/4 at first, if you follow what I've said, you should only need to hold the Zenesis at 4 o'clock position.

It works for me.

Will do!

I just tried to move the wick. Not going anywhere lol

I'll be making myself a new coil sometime tonight for sure.

hey there kevin! im getting better hits now, form your guys advice, i pinched the top a little bit, i thought they should be open like a straw, i guess i just needed to break it in. throat hit is a little light, but i think thats more to do with coil size and now that its working i dont want to mess with it! lol

You can adjust the throat hit by spinning the top cap
