There it is. Chief Administrative Officer of Juul is advocating that the government force ALL producers of vaping products to follow their steps. Nevermind that very few kiddies are using mods and tanks to vape. This woman appears to be wanting to use big government to hit what they view as their competition. Even though we are not. If they are being pushed to not offer flavors, they don't want flavors available to anyone else, either.

A good aspect in the 1st hearing was that there was an epidemiologist that shot down the claim of so many youth actively vaping. Pointed out the data showed the number is 3%.

Did you expect anything different especially after the $16 Billion buy-in by BT? BT has decades of experience at this crap and it should be no surprise Juul is their new lever.
Nope. Didn't surprise me. Just pointing out what was going on in the hearing.

What ran through my mind, I have to admit, after hearing all the caterwauling about flavors, is that fine, lets remove all flavored liquors. Only straight-up moonshine should be approved. Seeing as many of those probably headed across the street to get sauced after the hearings.

I don't see the Republicans doing any better. I don't care what party as long as they do their job. Sadly that's a fantasy.
The demonrats have proven that liberalism is a severe mental defect. They all sound like a Turbo Tax commercial. Free free free free free free free. Nothing is free and socialism/communism doesn't and hasn't worked anywhere in the world ever. More restrictive regulations and higher taxes just gives a black market more customers. People that say they are demonrats need to take a look at the psychos they are putting in office. It's destroying this country.

I thought that was relatively a new thing; the flavored moonshine. That's why I said straight moonshine. Regardless, I think you get my point.

In those hearings, it was Republicans who appeared to be trying to bring out the actual truth regarding vaping. However, it is yet to be seen how they will vote.

In general, I get what you're saying and I agree with most, but unfortunately, in my opinion, there is very little difference between the two major parties these days, besides rhetoric. Both care little about individual liberty; only differing in what they want to use big government to force down our throats.

I do understand. The biggest problem is vaping is really no concern of the government to begin with. Vaping wasn't a problem until big tobacco and big pharma started losing big money. The FDA among other alphabet government agencies should be eliminated.

Dems say they want free stuff for the people.
Repubs say they want free stuff for business.

Communism and capitalism have both failed.
This is the decline of Western Civilization.
Like watching a train wreck in slow motion.
Capitalism has NOT failed. What is failing is corporatism; where special interests buy off government to get special favor.
