All in all, don't you think the aug 3rd to 9th date was/is a little misleading then? I never said anything about promises, nor am I upset that they aren't released yet.... Just simply stating that " I can't/won't wait much longer" I've had a vmax in the "cart" a few times this week, so I'm obviously giving volcano as much time as possible, but I DO need a new PV , so I'm just hoping they get it done

Breakdown in a communication is what I would say it is.

I guess I'm feeling a bit more patient than some of you, especially since I really can't afford to buy one anyway, yet know that won't stop me from doing so. :unsure:

In any case, Joe was pretty participatory in this thread until a few pages/days ago, and I think it would be great if he popped back in at least long enough to give us an update.

Who is everyone? Not everyone who vapes is on FB, or ECF, or the volcano forums. It would be silly to release the new version while holding stock of the V1, which would people choose when they stuble upon the volcano site? The new one majority of the time. Thus loosing capital from the investment of V1's. Sell as many V1's in a short period of time, write the rest off. Then release the V2 and increase your profits. They may have great CS, but they are still a company in capitalistic America.

:2c:

Ouch, I think you left some of my ... still unchewed. Who needs a diet when you can just lose a few pounds here by making a joke.

LOL. Na man, you just took it that way. It’s the internet, you can't hear my demeanor. It was said in a polite conversationalist way.

Kewl beans ~nod nods~

But yeah, I didn't mean everyone everyone...just those of us awaiting the release of the LT2. But of course, not "everyone" knows of its impending release.

I'm just stoked about getting a VV and the wait for the new version is that of pins and needles.

So here is my thoughts on the release of the LT V2.

-They have overhauled their site just last night/this morning

-They have put the V1 ON SALE

They are trying to unload as much of the V1 stock before the put the V2 up. They are not going to put the V2 up until they have cleared a substantial amount of the V1's out.

I see the release being days if not a couple of weeks away.
that is not the case Crack3d, we are just awaiting them to arrive. They have shipped out form China, we are just on hold till they show up. Shipping can be slow sometimes from China and customs always likes to delay things when we really want them.

Thanks for the update Joe!

I got quite an adrenaline rush when I saw VERSION 2 NOW ON SALE! on your new & improved homepage -- took a few moments before I realized it wasn't the V2 I'm waiting for. LOL

As soon as they hit the door of the warehouse they will go up on the site minutes later.... we do have to open the boxes and make sure everything is right. We would not sit on a new product everyone is waiting on and that we have so much time and money in. We want these out as bad if not more than everyone else waiting on them. We can not control how fast they ship to us or delays caused due to customs, weather or other issues.

The waiting game is killing us as much as you. We promise as soon as we have them they will be posted and we will post it everywhere.

Thanks Joe. Please don't let some of these negative posts be an indicator of the community or Volcano's loyal customers. Most of us understand the intricacies of bringing a new product to market isn't as easy as some might imagine. I know that I'll still buy several 2.0's when they are available. I'm sure that I don't speak for myself. Quite frankly, I'm loving the suspense and will remember what you've guys have done, the day that I'm holding that well engineered tube in my hands, and with every puff I'd be thanking you guys for your hard work!

Once again, thank you for the updates and please do continue to keep us informed.

For someone like me who as of last night only just decided he wanted an LT( after just discovering it 2 days ago)and only just stumbled onto the volcano section of the forums, would you say to wait it out for the new version or to just get the soon to be "older" model?
This will be my first vv. Sorry if this isn't the place ..

Did anyone else notice the description of the original lavatube from their website.

:: 3.0 - 6.0 volts of power with 2.5 amps of current
:: Uses a STANDARD 18650 Rechargeable lithium ion battery
:: Large LCD screen with battery voltage display
:: Power On/Off button, voltage up and down buttons
:: Aluminum and copper construction
:: USA-Made Chipset
:: 3 Different colors to choose from!

When did china become USA or do they make them somewhere in the states now?

Maybe they mean designed?

Not sure where you are getting that from but it not from our site... And if you are getting it from another site there are many knocks out here and many vendors are misleading on the product. Some places even sell batteries with the kit as an AW brand or IMR cell type and they aren't.

ah good looking out gkeller16... looks like the web tech got a little confused and posted the wrong info on that Lavatube. I didn't even catch that. We are fixing it here shortly. That info is not meant for that Lavatube.

Thanks for the comments on the new site, we worked hard on it. We wanted to launch it with the new LT 2.0 but with the delays we got a little punchy.

Its funny cause every time I pull up the site the version 2 inferno takes a second to form the picture on my phone ,so I just see version 2 and I die a little inside every time it happens lol.
