Just curious, I own the chrome lavatube, and will buy one of the new ones when they come out. However, I am curious what makes Volcano tubes different from the million of sites selling tubes that look exactly the same, with ohm checkers, and other features already. I am sticking with Volcano because of solid customer service and the fact my chrome tube has worked well( Only problem I have had with my chrome tube is the fire button turned black?) Are all these other tubes essentially the same thing, or are manufacturing specs different. Just curious.

the original lavatube and the new one that has yet to release aren't being made by different manufactures. also any site that is currently selling the lavatube as a 1.5 or 2.0 model are just using those numbers as a selling point. volcano is the company that created the concept and design of the lavatube and this new one is the true official redesign of it. any company that is claiming to have different specs may or may not be genuine about the information they are providing. I say this since a company such as volcano whom has so much time/money/and pride invested into the lavatube, would certainly carry any true revisions of its own product. I have seen claims by some companies of 4 and 5 amp capabilites, yet they say the battery life remains constant which is impossible.

i too love my current lavatube's(black beta tester and a chrome) and am currently waiting on the 2.0 release to get a gunmetal(hopefully they will do a limited edition green as well, since every one that goes to the volcano chat seems to want a green lavatube). i will just stick with spending my hard earned money on a company that has always done right by me, and provided me stellar products that have helped me and many other kick the nasty analog habit

Can you use the mini nova with this? Will it need a thread sleeve? My sister wants me to help her get everything she will need for this. Is there anything else needed with this kit?

To answer your question, Yes the Vivi Mini nova will work. it has the same 510 connection as the larger Vivi nova.

Yeah, we're ALL waiting for Volcano to get some vapemail!!)

Do you have reason to think the LT2s are about to land?

On volcanos site they said about the caption contest that it would run till the release of the lt2s and contest ended last night.I'm thinking could be anytime now they will be up.

The suspense is epic lol. I'm not really sure if I want to save up a bit and get a provari or get this. I'm having a hard time deciding. Most proveri users are diehard about them but the new LT looks pretty awesome.

I was on the fence as well but the more I thought about it ,I personally don't like the 1 button design even though others say you get used to it.

I'm also careless with my ecigs, always setting them somewhere and forgetting them and much cheaper to replace a LT than a provari.

From the pictures, the new LT looks every bit as sleek as a Provari. Plus, I don't think I would spend the extra money for all that button clicking!

i was luck enough to be at vapestock and see a prototype... they are very sleek looking, as well as a much better feel. plus whats the point of getting a high priced mod.... i never use my darwin:(, just my two lavatubes.(the wife decided to use that as her step up from the 510 batteries, so it was taken from me)

I would love to get my hands on a Darwin but honestly it doesn't look like it woul be very comfortable in those hands. And there's no way I could spend 240 plus on just an avp without loads of extra goodies.

I felt the same way. Then I got to try one two months ago. My signature says the rest. I was also skeptical of having a internal 1800 mah battery (darwin), cause I would chew up a 1600mah and 2000mah in one day on my LT. Sometimes two 2000mahs. I cannot use all of the Darwin battery if I tried any harder. I keep a charger cord at work, in the car and at home of course. The only one I ever use is at home when I go to bed. I get up 4am and go to bed at 10-11pm. Run it at 9.6W on my I06 2.5ohm (which is actually reading 2.0ohms) and hitting 4.3V.

You wife took your Darwin?!?! That's grounds for divorce.
