Hey fellas, sorry to hear about the manufacturing error on the Lavatube 2.0.

I've been searching around for a good set up, and thankfully I ran across the Lavatube 2.0 for my home APV. It looks phenomenal and should be my last purchase for quite some time!

Good luck and hope to order one of them soon! Any way to reserve mine?

Thanks, we should be getting them soon. No we are not doing a preorder or anything like that. We have found in the past that doing pre-orders with all the delays that happen it causes a lot of issues and many upset people, and people wanting their money back due to delays. We just order huge numbers for our first order, and have a second order leaving the factory about the time we get the first one in our hands. That way once they are available everyone can get one and if we do sell out it is only out for maybe a day.

Haha yeah I figured there wouldn't be a preorder option. Like you said, way too exhausting and complicated to be worth it.

I am placing an order on Friday to get some eGo-C Twists for on the go, and will be waiting for the Lavatube 2.0. Any way to see when it's released so I can get my order in ASAP? Like an e-mail notification?

Quick question, it kind of looks fat in the video, what's the diameter of it ? Same as all others LT ?

127mm long by 28mm in diameter

Slightly bigger around than the original Lavatube.

a few of the regulars in the volcano chatroom have been doing a pool just for kicks.... i like the brilliant person i am picked 9/3/12 the one day this month where there is no mail deliveries. even over there its pure speculation as nothing has been released, but as long as i know delays are for reasons of perfection im happy.

Great review. The kit is going to come with 1600 mah imr batteries as the video says, correct? Would you consider putting in 2000 or 2200 mah instead? Or an option? I'd pay slightly more for the higher mah batteries in the kit.

My one remaining concern is the hole in the top cap for the lanyard. Could juice enter this hole and interfere with the electronics?

no the lanyard hole has no access to the inside of the device at all.

yes the kit will have the 1600mah AW IMR. We might change the battery if we start carrying the 2000mah battery.
