not entirely sure how this one is gonna run yet as far as the safety of voltage with ohms. but on the previous version if your running a atty above its limit, it will drop the voltage down to a safe level. so say if you should be capped at 4.5 but have it set at 6v, it would auto drop the voltage to any where between 4.5 and lower depending on the device itself.

My dad emailed me this morning. He's tired of waiting, he's going with a provari (will be his first PV). He liked my LT1, but I steered him away from getting one because of the lack of QAQC and cheap build. Told him to hang on for this...He's over it.
I just found this last night and want one immediately. Might not have enough patience to wait for the new ones.

So here is my thoughts on the release of the LT V2.
-They have overhauled their site just last night/this morning
-They have put the V1 ON SALE
They are trying to unload as much of the V1 stock before the put the V2 up. They are not going to put the V2 up until they have cleared a substantial amount of the V1's out.
I see the release being days if not a couple of weeks away.

Would be hard for them to clear LT1 stock when everyone is holding off from ordering, waiting for the LT2 lol

It would be silly to release the new version while holding stock of the V1, which would people choose when they stuble upon the volcano site? The new one majority of the time. Thus loosing capital from the investment of V1's. Sell as many V1's in a short period of time, write the rest off. Then release the V2 and increase your profits. But they must also realize that the "vaping world" is moving extremely fast, for example my gf wanted a new LT but she seen that provari is coming out with colored mini's ( purple ) = she's sold, I myself don't want a provari, but am looking at alternatives simply ( childish I know ) because "I want it now " .... When there's new things coming out virtually daily, it's not good to "put something off" .... All that being said, I'm still waiting on the LT- idk for how much longer though

Sadly, I think your right. I don't see them releasing this for a couple weeks. Hopefully that is not the case but business is business. I echo lava man as well, have the money right now to buy a provari but have been waiting for the new LT , my current LT is acting wonky and was hoping to have it for my trip in 2 weeks. I'm giving it another week, then decide what to do.

It could go either way I suppose. Just going with my gut feeling right now, and my gut says, a week or more.
We can speculate all we want but no telling. All I know is that they used the terms "projected SALE date" and "Release date". Joe has also said we will know when it is in his hand, whether they tell people it has arrived and then give a release date or just release it who knows...
All I know is I've destroyed all my ego batteries, my last twist is intermittent, USPS lost my Bolt package, and I need to send my SS Vtube back by tomorrow. I have to order something by then. Actually I prob will have to get a battery locally while waiting on shipping now that I think about it. Crap.
Well, usually , when someone says between August 3rd to August 9th it will be released , I take that as the 9th is " our worst case scenario" now I realize about delays and etc in shipping and I don't pretend to know what happens in customs?? But I took it as = by the 9th I can order it and have it by Saturday!!! Now that is out the window, I'm not mad s--t happens... I'll wait another day I guess

So, yeah, they've probably SHOWN UP at their warehouse in HI. Never said anything about a sale date.
This same info was posted by ArtistBoy (Forum MODERATOR on volcano), and then the previously quoted post from Shadow Realm was posted about no promises being made about any sale date.
So how good is the sale date coming from the forum Admin compared to CS rep.? You know? Just saying.

All in all, don't you think the aug 3rd to 9th date was/is a little misleading then? I never said anything about promises, nor am I upset that they aren't released yet.... Just simply stating that " I can't/won't wait much longer" I've had a vmax in the "cart" a few times this week, so I'm obviously giving volcano as much time as possible, but I DO need a new PV , so I'm just hoping they get it done
