How did u find vaping?

i didn't know much about vaping and i thought ecigarettes were the stupidest way to emulate traditional smoke: now i can say that the only stupid was me.

A friend at work talked about his new e-cig, and how much he liked it. We'd take a break and go smoke together (well, I smoked), and I became intrigued. He said he didn't even miss cigs... So, I took the plunge, and the rest is history. Smoke-free since August 21!

Thought about getting a Blu from Walgreens, but Google is my friend. Before I wasted a dime I found ECF and WOW!!!! The sharing of information, and general benevolence of its members in helping and encouraging each other was unreal.

So I power-read damn near every noob advice post in 24 hours (didn't sleep that day), ordered a Volt 1st so I would have something that would work both at home and on the road, then I didn't sleep until the mailman came. Once I vaped my first cart and battery dry (about 8 hours) I realized I would need a bigger rig for home so I ordered the Riva EGO starter kit and a buttload of juices and I didn't sleep until those came in. Figured out that Dekang juices aren't that great and then I found AliceInVapeland.com and ordered some of that and didn't sleep until those came in.

Anyone know a sleep forum?

Ok so I want this to be a post for you to go back and remember that first day that first vape. Me I remember buying a tececig (small ecig) at the mall and using it for about 2weeks and quitting and going back to analogs. I got a new job and there I meet charger72 (what he goes by on here) told me what to get and helped me every step of the way and now I'm an avid vapor. From an ego to a provari. So in this post I want to say Thank you Charger72 for 4months free of cigarettes. Remember please post how you found out and if someone was there to help or if you picked it up on your own.

In Maymy hubby ended up in ICU on a respirator with pneumonia. He was there for just over a week. I knew I had to find a way to keep him from going back to smoking so I picked up a small kit at the pharmacy as soon as he got the craving for an analog. From that we tried disposables but that was getting pricy so we ordered him lavatube, tank and liquid. So far we only have the lavatube, vmod, bolt and two egos I have started a wish list tho LOL

I Googled E-cigarette and this forum came up in the results. It was soon after I quit smoking cold turkey for a month and relapsed... again. I knew e-cigs were around but never tried one. After a few evenings reading the info and posts on ECF I ordered the E-Power 14650 with a backup. I never did try a little cig-sized unit.

I found vaping completely by mistake. I was looking up friends old band called Grimm Legion and got some of Grimm Greens videos. So like most people on YouTube you start looking for something and watch something completely different. After watching a few of his videos and I ordered an ego-T kit, and the rest is history. Needless to say I watched every vaping video I could find after that moment.

Grimm is the reason why I vape.

A friend brought her blue disposible to work, then I got sick and was watching alot of youtube while recovering and came across dr. Vapor and zee cigs. I never had much luck with 510's or blu's (exept I do like their disposibles for some outings). I came across ego and smokeless image at the same time from reading sites and love both of them. Ive tried analogs a few times with my stubborn smoker friend but Im over it. Its been almost a year and now Im trying to lower nic levels.

i found a cheap rechargeable at a dollar store for $7 and it claimed to be 2 packs of cigarettes (it was right) i liked it and when i got home i googled "best electronic cigarettes" and on every site i went to V2 was at the top, so i figured i'd give it a try, i got hooked, did more research and found ECblends, love them so far, now i'm here, still new but i got a pretty nice start so far

About 2 years ago I found a specific crap model on a google by accident.. Wasted my money and only vaped for about 3 weeks before the juice flowing into my mouth killed the enjoyment..
Last year about May my girlfriend found BLU and I immediately stole it from her then purchased my own.. It worked really well and the flavors were fantastic compared with my previous years failure.. The batteries died quickly and after about 3 months I started buying cigars and Inhaled.. Whats the point of smoking something if your not gonna inhale.. Finally I found ECF and did as much research as possible till I found what I wanted.. From January this year till about May I was on and off the whole time. Knew I liked vaping vs. Smoking a cig but just didn't have the rhythm down enough to give it a full time shot at quitting.. Finally While on vacation and doing 3 hour hike I realized just how bad my breathing was and how pathetic me being a 33 year old man couldn't hike up a mountain.. 60-70 year old men and women were passing me by so I finally had enough to say F-IT!

i was on ask.com searching for marlboro limited edition cigs that i smoked 10 years ago (it was a mint/cocoa flavor) and i saw a link for electronic smoking. think it was v2cigs. bought a kit 2 days later.
