How did you ask permission to vape at work?

I work in a medical office so I usually go to the bathroom, or if I'm feeling adventurous I'll stealth at my desk. I've had many discussions about my "vape station" at my desk and most have been positive, so eventually I'll probably open vape (since my office is the equivalent of a storage closet out of patient sight) but my system is working well for me now, so I'm not gonna chance it.
