I was sorta-watching a news channel, just on in the background, when I saw scroll across the ticker "WHO questions safety of e-cigarettes" or something to that effect. Something about WHO and e-cigs.

Anyway, I thought "WTF is an e-cigarette?" so I got on my computer and did some searching and wound up on this forum.

A 3 pack a day habit became a 3.5ml a day habit and I feel so much better now.

I was searching for cheaper cigarettes and saw a link for blucigs. I ordered without doing my homework and waited for a couple weeks for them. After waiting for 1 week I went to the local smoke store and bought an overpriced e-cig(works great, its like a 401 model) because I didn't want to smoke another analog again, I haven't touched one since. By the second week I did my homework and ordered 2 510 kits and canceled my blu order. I love my 510. Thanks blu for turning me onto e-cigs and getting me off the analogs. Since the the wife and I are exclusive PV users and feel great. Thats my story.;)

How about you Gregg?

A friend made the switch a couple of months ago. I tried his and had to agree it feels & tastes like an analog. Researched it for weeks, looked at distributers, detracters, and have been working my way thru this forum. Also watched my buddy get healthier while saving alot of money! So the wife & I are taking the plunge and awaiting our starter kits. Meanwhile I've also found myself advocating these to anyone who'll listen. I lost both my parents to lung cancer at relatively young ages- after the research I've done I believe this product could have saved or substationally extended thier lives.

I had just found this site recently. I was also looking for cheaper cigarettes and found an ad for blucigs. I ordered there and waited for a while. When they suspended sales on their site, I started to get a little worried. That's when I found this site. I wish I had done a little more research but I was able to easily cancel my blu order as well. I've since ordered some two 510 starter kits from somewhere else and they are supposed to be here today. I can't wait.

Back in December of 2008 I was bored and looking at the rants and raves section on Craigslist , I stumbled upon a post titled : Electronic cigarettes smoking of the future. I then reasearched as much as I could until I found this site and settled on ordering a DSE-901 from PS and haven't looked back no more analogs for me !! Analog free since Jan 2009 :D well except for the very rare cigarillo .

HELP WANTED - Craigslist post
Local mall was looking for someone to work the SE kiosk.
Little did I know telling the owner I was researching online would eliminate even the opportunity for an interview.

Glad I found these - 3 days- 4-8 hrs a day researching online and I decided on a DSE901.
Stepped 'up' with a usb passthrough and now
you can't pry my Screwdriver from my hand.

Thank you SE - while I'd never buy their product (or sell it) it was through them I discovered my new lease on life!

30 years of smoking.....
Vaporized by my Screwdriver!

My boss and I were outside smoking, hacking and BSing about how we needed to quit and he told me a friend of his had e-mailed him about e-cigs that he should look into them.

I googled and bought a couple of Gamucci Elite disposables for $20 ea. They were good enough to get me thinking "I can do this".

The rest is history for me, he is still on analogs. I'm trying not to push him, but the analogs are taking their toll on him...coughing hacking wheezing, getting sick.

He is amazed that I am still analog free. He'll come around, soon.

Edit: I'm building a Cisco laser mod for him :D

Sadly I saw a BLU banner and without doing any homework ordered it. I think it was just after I eventually received it, I was doing my homework FINALLY (hated the BLU) and found ECF. Poked around for a few days, ordered a 510, and returned my BLU. Here I am 1 month later and about $600 poorer...nobody mentioned the NEW addiction of wanting to buy more e-cig goodies.:D

i was walking in the Northgate mall in Seattle where there's a shady "smoking everywhere" guy trying to pitch sales...jonesing for a smoke i walked up and asked to try it, i admit i liked it, but it wasnt great...he told me the prices ($143), i said "i'll think about it"...then looked online for cheaper ones, found the blu, placed an order, found ecf, cancelled order after 3 weeks...now im enjoying my 510 :)
