Hey all,
My BF is trying to quit, in large part, b/c i cannot handle kissing and being close to him after he has been smoking - and to both our dismay, I can taste and smell the cigarettes for about 18 - 24 hours after he has smoked. He recently proposed cutting the last 3-5 cigs a day to none w/ the use of an E-cig... but we don't have a lot of money so would hate to shell out the cash and find out nothing had changed or it was replaced by something just as bad or worse.....

Will E-Cigs take care of the problem? Any partners of E-Cig smokers able to comment? Is there any taste left behind? How long does it linger? I have not seen any non-smoker's comments on various websites or with a search of the threads and so thought i would post here...

Thanks in advance,
Emmy

My husband (the non-smoker) said it is like night and day. Poor guy, he must REALLY love me to have put up with that stench on me all the time and for all those (22) years. Now, he says he can't smell anything even if I'm vaping a tobacco liquid.

Encourage him, be supportive and you won't regret it! Aside from breath and personal smell, he's going to add years to his life with you!

There is really not much "smell" involved. If anything it is like a scented candle but very faint depending on the flavor juice you are using. Vaping in no way lingers on your breath, clothes, hair, skin, ect.
I was vaping in the back seat of my wife's car while her and a friend were in the front. They could not even tell I was doing it in close proximity to them.
Your should try to get your significant other off analogs completely. Once he starts vaping though he might decide to go that route himself.
