I'm not so much talking about the FEELING of the hit, I'm pretty please with the feeling of hit from my ego-c in terms of feel and vapor production. I'm talking about nicotine absorption in the bloodstream. Meaning most effective way to get that nic in my blood lol

Something to keep in mind - you will never get that instant hit that you get from tobacco. The nicotine is absorbed through your mouth and throat more slowly than with cigs. That's why it's so easy to get nic sick when you start out. You overdo it looking for that instant hit, then whammo, you've got the headache, nausea etc of too much nic. The good side of this is after a month or so you no longer get the strong nic cravings you had before. I'm talking about the feels like your blood is crying out for a smoke ones. I can go hours without a toot on my PV at work now and just get mildly anxious. So that's the upside. Also what strength nic are you using? I started out with 24 the first first months, but had to cut back when I got the EMDCCs from madvapes. Don't like nic sick, but love puffin on my PV constantly when not at work.

I guess it depends on how much cigs are..I was paying $13-15 for 200 native brand smokes and they were pretty good..I hadn't payed taxes on cigs in years except for the occasional pack when I ran out. Nothing should be taxed more than the cost of the product itself even if it's bad for you..wait until they tax other things the government thinks is bad for you..so much for living in a "free" country...

Anyone got anymore comments on the how to get the most nic from the hit?
The mechanics of getting more nicotine per drag is easy, just increase the amount of vapor.
Now how you go about increasing the amount of vapor is another question altogether.
:D

--You can go for more power by lowering the resistance of the atomizer/cartomizers that you use.
--Or you can go for more power by getting higher voltage batteries or passthrus.

Another way of getting more vapor is to use a higher percentage of VG in your juice.
But that method will NOT give more nicotine per drag as far as I know, it is just a lot more pleasing to the eye.

And still wanna know to people notice a difference when they hold in the vapor or blow out quick or through nose. Again this is week two for me so I still kinda crave an analog so I wanna know the best way to get that nic fix!
I don't remember running across this question before...

Most of us here want to experience the vapor, and the taste.
Not many people are looking to maximize nicotine per drag, as you seem to be wanting to do.

But see my post above for some suggestions.

Hmmmmmm little worried just spent the day vaping in through the mouth out through the nose like people said to do to get the most nicotine and I just blew my nose and there's blood...
Oh snap!!

So the best way to explain that is that your nasal passage dried out too much.
Both PG and VG are humectants and will dry you out.

Drink more water is always one of the first things told to new vapers.
And maybe trying some of the other methods I mentioned will give you similar results without exhaling out your nose every time.

Hmmmm that's news to me I thought the main reason people starting vaping in the first place was to stop smoking or find a healthier alternative to smoking... So you just started vaping just to do it? You never smoked?

Most smokers I know live paycheck to paycheck and work low paying jobs. They think it's expensive because they are the type of people who don't see the big picture... Then the startup cost becomes an easy cop-out to not quit smoking, even though they all acknowledge they are killing themselves and want to quit.

A couple people I know started vaping after I did and one of their first comments after the health benefits was how cheap it was compared to smoking... But they all have better jobs, don't live paycheck to paycheck, and know how to manage their money.

So in my experience, much of it comes down to being poor or stupid.

So I'm not off base thinking people vape because it's a healthier way to smoke ie get nicotine...

It seems you think that maximizing your nicotine per drag is the path off cigarettes.
And maybe it is for you, but that's you, not me.

I've already given you some answers that can help you do that if that's what you feel you need.

This poll might help you see that smoking is NOT all about the nicotine for everyone...
http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...ou-put-down-those-last-couple-cigarettes.html

There is a ton of information on this forum about the various aspects of smoking, and translation to vaping.
Unfortunately, not a lot of that information pertains to maximizing nicotine per drag, for those who find that a major concern.

That is why I was hoping my previous answers would help you in that regard.
Most people just vape more if they want more nicotine, which I'll have to assume you don't to do for some reason.

Maybe you'll find something in this vast forum of information that works for you.
It appears that my answers aren't exactly floating your boat.

From what I've seen there are 4 types of people that seem to think that vaping is as expensive as smoking.

That's one. The short term vs long term thinking.

The second type are people that have been ripped off by the way too many vendors that charge ridiculous prices. The worst example of this I know of is White Cloud.

The third type are those that continue to search for the perfect vape. If you're one of these, all I can say is vaping isn't smoking. There's no device out there that will make vaping into smoking. If you have some gear you can live with. Live with it. :)

The last type are people that really want an excuse to smoke instead of vape. I've seen posts from people that say that because there are consumables, vaping is just as expensive as smoking. Never mind that a $1 worth of juice a day and a $3 carto a week don't come close to the cost of cigarettes.

I get it, because in the morning when I first get up I want to get some nic in my system to get going. Yes, vaping is the safest and most pleasing nicotine delivery method for most of us, and keeps us from smoking.

I do a combo of a slow drag, hold in my lungs for a second, slow exhale through the nose. I also use a strong menthol in the morning as my wake-up vape :)

Thank you :) I was beginning to think I was the only one that was doing it to not smoke cigs!

And as for DC2 I hope you didn't think I was being rude (i appreciate all the info you gave!) I was actually curious as to getting the most "analog feel" being that I just stopped smoking and its toughhhhhhhh and the reason I can't constantly vape is cause I cannot at my job.

Lol this is probably right on! I MIGHTTTTT be #3 but not in the fact thinking its more expensive I know it's way cheaper and I WANT TO NOT SMOKE but oh it's so good! I just want vaping to be that good lol I'm sticking it out but will the analog craving ever go away :( I'm at 2 maybe 3 weeks without an analog. Actually I got tipsy Friday and splurged in a few. Does that start the whole withdrawal over again!?!
