To those of you who own more than one Provari how do you justify it? What made you buy the second one?
i have three one for home it never goes out
the second is for out and work and i have said if it gets damaged or beat up looking that is what it is for. and a chrome, becuase they dont make them anymore and i like rare & shiny things.

saw a white one in the classies just yesterday.

But in the end I've got a Vamo backup instead, for Provape doesn't want to come up with a variable power/wattage device. There's some truth in the "vote with your wallet" philosophy, after all...

yup and right now provape can barely keep them in stock so keep waiting. check out any of the European provari vendors they sell out as soon as they get a new shipment and then start preorders for the next batch.

I too, am the proud owner of a polished chrome Provari. I congratulate you on your impeccable taste and style sir :)

Well I went to the site again today, and now the new designs are up. Kinda disappointed there are not new colors. Now I'm considering the new design in white.... I think I will eventually buy it, but it's almost just as fun to want it. Thanks for all the replies here, you definitely gave me some good ammo when my husband asks "Why do you need another one of those?"

I have a purple mini and for some reason that I can't explain, I really really want a white standard. But everyday (for a couple of weeks now) I look at the Provape site, fill up my cart and I just can't pull the trigger. I don't NEED it. The extra battery life would be nice, but I could just buy the extended cap for my mini. It'd be nice to have a different color, but it's not like I'm going to carry two around...

I had 3 of them at one time. 2 full size and 1 mini.... Im sold both full sizes and am down to the mini... I like the new V2.5 so its time to order a new full size Provari... Cant beat the 18650 battery for a true all day vape.....

Owning (another) one is a whole lot more fun than wanting (another) one! ;)

Talking in general. There are ppl with 8-10 mods? Who in his right mind will need 10 mods? Spare one and buy a homeless guy a dinner or two... TEN! Nonsense and pure affectation IMHO.

Thank you for telling me how to spend MY money. My mod purchases in no way cut into my charitable contributions. Without your guidance I might have spent the money I earned in a way I saw fit. (Currently, 1 ProVari + 6 other different mods, not counting the Twists, - with 2 new different mods on the way.) I have a different Genny on each one, each with a different juice.

That's how I roll.

If you love it and can easily afford it than I vote to go for it! Especially if you don't have good back ups. I had two and misplaced one. I hated not having a back up but I have other great pv's so I would do the same thing as you; put one in my cart but then just couldn't justify hitting the order button because I didn't really NEED it. Plus I knew mine was in the house and kept hoping I would find it. Finally after a couple months of missing having a back up (and having another color) I bought another one. It was great having two again! Then a few weeks later I found the one I misplaced. So now I have three! Ooopppsss......... :vapor:

Thanks. I bit my tongue, but as someone who has five PVs and several more arriving shortly (and I had three Provaris not long ago, but traded two for other mods that caught my eye), I feel exactly the same way.

Some people have multiple houses, or more than one car. Some people hoard money in their mattresses. Other people collect stamps, or porcelain, or coins... or whatever. How about those coin collectors, huh? How many coins does one person need? Having more than, say, $20 in change, well that's nonsense and pure affectation, I tell you!

Yes, I have a lot of PVs. I've got a lot of different atty's and juices, too. At the rate I've been ordering juices, there may be some juices I never even vape. I know, I know, there are children in Africa who have nothing to vape, and it's a sin to waste juice, but I enjoy trying new things. I love finding good juices from new places. I love comparing how this mod stacks up against that mod. I love discovering that that juice tastes best in that RBA, or that that new PV I just picked up in the classifieds looks gorgeous with the tank I've had sitting on a shelf for the last month and a half.

Is it nonsense and affectation to enjoy exploring what's available out there? Is being a collector of something you find interesting wrong? Is it making the world a worse place that I spend the money I work all day to make on this particular hobby, rather than going out drinking or taking karate lessons or catching the latest movies?

If it is, so be it. I'm going to hell.

I bought my second mini when I found out about the blemished ones. Went with the cheapest options this time around and just got silver/red led. I bring my vari with me everywhere so having a spare was all the justification I needed. Vaping is quickly becoming a hobby for me though and I do see myself with all sorts of mods for no reason other than, I want them.

I just pulled the trigger on my second one yesterday...a black mini V2.5 and it will be here Saturday.

Easy enough to justify... I smoked 2-2.5 packs of smokes a day @ about $6.00 a pack. It's only a couple weeks worth of cig money and I like my standard size Provari V2. I bought a ZAP last week and that can reside on the V2 at home...the mini will be my new mobile rig.

I've taken the money I'm saving on smokes and buying equipment...I've accumulated 21 PV's, a bunch of RBA's, Tanks, Clearomizers etc. and I started DIY my own juice. It's turned into a bit of a hobby.

:)

I purchased a V1. Then when I purchased one for my wife, the V2 was out. Some of the attys we got wouldnt work on my V1 ( Id get an error ) but worked like a champ on hers.

So I bought a V2 for myself as well. The V1 now sits in a drawer ( along with severla of my other purchases )

I want another. But I totally dont need one. But I have decided that every January starting in 2014, I will buy a new Provari because I am VERY hard on my devices and the paint begins to chip away from being repeatedly dropped and such.

So if the device lasts me a year, then I can buy another new shiny one.

I did get excited when I heard there were new colors coming. But the pastel colors they went with were not appealing to me so I didnt buy a third Provari.

:)

( of course if theres a V3...say with variable wattage...I would upgrade sooner )

In the end, I justify it like this:

My kids are clothed and fed well, they get to go to the movies, they have new computers, they have smart phones, the get to go to Sesame Street live and Yogabbagabba Live. They want for nothing because I wear jeans with holes in them and spend it all on them. If I want to get ONE thing for myself every six months to a year, then I work 45-50 hours a week, want is as important as need.
