I warm up a bowl of rice in the microwave for 4 minutes. After warming I set my bottle in the rice about half way up the bottle. Leave it till it gets to room temp, shake, put it away for a couple of days.

If you do that around dinnertime (and you clean the bottle off before sticking it in the rice) your side dish will be ready as well.

Eskie you can make your own magnetic stirrer a good one for under $20. i can show you

Thanks. They're easy to use, but I rarely make batches large enough to justify the need for a sirrer at this point. Still getting a few mixes down right prior to mas production:).

View attachment 615549 LOL. i use my magnetic mixer to make 30 ml batches. I have a bar that can fit in a 25ml bottle or beaker and 120ml as well. when it comes to steeping i never use heat over 90 farenheit. It breaks down your nicotine turns it brown and alters flavors.

Take a olfa or drywall knife to score then snap the blades off then scrape the excess flush, the mixer will spin faster with no resistance from the blades. I did that to my mixer. I make 100ml batches of my tobaccos and it spins them nicely.

My magnetic stirrer didn't make the transition to larger, 220 ml. quantities. Perhaps it wasn't fast enough, or maybe the 1-1/2" stirring bar was too short, but there was no vortex. It didn't seem to be doing much.

So I started using this paint stirrer.

It quickly mixes any beaker or bottle I put it in, but is less aggressive than a frother. As it swirls the concoction, it is easy to add or avoid bubbles by adjusting its depth.

Ugh you people are so lazy. I just put the bottle in my pocket and Riverdance........

@ 2:44 is where the real vigorous mixing begins....... Me, I am part of the lazy group and just shake it a few times a day by hand. I am too tired from working to do the River dance but hey, maybe on the weekend I'll have to put on my dancing shoes! ;)
