I had one cig since I bought the e cig. Finished it and decided ill just stay with the e cig. Just hate smelling like smoke
I agree that nicotine should be regulated cause we really dont know how much nic and other flavourings that some vendors sell,only problem is i dont trust the govt too do the job right.
I've never been much of a drinker. If I end up with friends and I'm out to hear a band I can nurse one beer for a couple of hours.
It's coffee that used to make me reach for a smoke. That, and after a meal. Now, I reach for a vape and it seems just right. I don't even think about a smoke. It's all about recreating your paradigm for satisfying the nic urge, at least for me. I still vape 24mg RY4 and Dekang tobacco, which are both pretty mild tobacco vapes. I'm telling myself that after I get through the 500ml of various juices I have around I'll start going down to 18mg and 12mg.

I am addicted to MAOIs much moreso than nicotine (i think). I have been my entire life. When I was a kid, my grandma would give them to me to calm me down. I think its also why it was so easy for me to get addicted to cigarettes. When I first smoked an e-cig, I knew there was something missing, so I kept smoking cigarettes. Ultimately, the smell of smoke just became disgusting and I didn't want to be a smoker anymore. The first week for me of ONLY e-cig was hard. No nicotine cravings, but definitely a mild depression from the lack of MAOIs.
I have been really busy and haven't been out drinking since e-cigging. When I do have a craving I overdo the nicotine and it makes it impossible to reach for a cigarette so that's been my solution. I'm curious to see how my drinking will go. I will probably chain vape 6mg or 0mg. Also considering 24mg tobacco.

When I drink I use 80/20 36mg. I chain vape. That keeps me off cigarettes. It works, believe me. After 35 years of smoking and drinking I can tell you it works for me.
I'm finding being more aware of myself and slowing down the drinking, having non alcohloic drinks in between them and stopping when I have a light buzz worked the other night at the weekly pool comp at the pub.
Standing near the smelly smokers was horrible and I felt annoyed that their SHS was getting on my clothes. I was vaping vanilla at 6mg and very much enjoying it and watched my mate smoking and thought 'yuck you couldn't pay me to smoke one of those things right now.'
I was like I said drinking slow so didn't get overwhelmed by it enough to crave a cig - that's a key factor. Also watched my mate slowly deteriorate over the course of the night as he was boozing hard and thought 'man I'm glad that's not me and I'll be waking up feeling fiT and healthy tomorrow.'
I was addicted to hootch but gave that up 26 yrs ago. I miss the analogs first thing in the morning, sometimes badly, but I just vape through it. If I was still drinking, and I loved a cig with drinking for sure, I would get tobacco flavored juice (nothing too sweet) and perhaps one nicotine strength above my normal. Booze dulls the senses so perhaps a bit stronger nicotine would help diminish the desire for an analog.
How do you NOT smoke when drinking alcohol?

I don't go out and drink much but when I do I usually go to local taverns. One of my friend also vapes so we just sit there drink and vape. I did run across a bar while out of town, a local type bar and they banned vaping- their reason was that they had vapers who also smoked and would forgot and light up an analog. Gee what did I do go out and light up an analog in between drinks...had they said I could vape inside their I would have vaped and been happy.
I remember this problem, i was a die hard smoker and have a worst addiction to the brown pops. I remember uping my nic juice to 24 mg and chain vaping and just telling myself that if i really want a real cig that i would have on tommorow and this went on everyday

)Well experience is showing me that when a few beersw kick in vape is next to useless, in fact feels kinda lame.
I hereby and henceforth confess that I'm going smoke some fags when I drink.
Thrasher buddy, you're right, it is what it is and if you wanna party you gotta pay the piper, just like pretty much anything, you wanna get laid soon enough you're gonna get an sti or have a baby, you wanna gamble, you gotta be prepared to lose a bit of scratch.
Ah well, I drink 1 - 2 days a week and once at home and that time will only smoke around 5. That's happening tonight.
When I go out downtown I'll probably smoke betweet 10 - a pack, probably around 15.
On weekdays I smoked an average of 6, so hey ho, I'm smoking 30 less a week, 120 less a month and 1440 less per year. And that's good because on weekdays i don;t have the urge at all and even with vape only go through 0.5ml to 1ml a day.

I'm off to the store for some more 580ml bottles of Suntory Red and a pack of things that shouldn't be mentioned on this forum.
Cheers all - those 1440 NOT SMOKED a year matter right? And that leaves me at about a pack a week which is only 960 a year instead of 2,400. And la dee da and all that jazz.

To each his own. I'm perfectly fine vaping while drinking. In fact, not to be snobbish, but you couldn't even trick me into smoking a real cigarette these days, even when drunk. I'm thankfully past those days.

It's a simple case of chemistry. When drunk Hotwire wants what he puffs on to relax him and vape does the opposite, no getting around it (possibly WTA but the shipping to where I live at the moment costs more than the juice which as you know ain't cheap).
When I'm not in my cups I'll take my vape any day and you couldn't trick me either.
At least I'm more than halving my cig intake so I'll stick to feeling good about that.
I had the "alcohol test" a few weeks ago when I had a craving for some Wild Turkey and Coke. I passed with flying colors!! In fact after I'd had a few and my inhibitions started to go away I even tried to smoke a real cigarette but it tasted bad (bitter) and I just went back to my vape with no problem. I always seemed to fall off the wagon the other times I "quit" when I'd have a cocktail. It was really quite pleasant not to have a "a tobacco hangover" the next morning. I use Dekang Desert Ship (Camel) 6mg and it seems to work just fine for me!
My problem with alcohol is not smoking a cigarette,its dropping my Mod all the time,drinking makes me a fumbling idiot,i can live without alcohol,i dont enjoy it anymore,id rather vape and drink tea and coffee.
