Queen --good control there as I just vaped 4 times while I wrote this post----Yilkes!!--LOL---Sun

I hate to call anyone out on some of your vape patterns, I, Like Sun,
do not remember, the last time I put down any of my ecigs,

Oh, I do remember, it was right before, I bought it!!

that was 6 months ago, since then ( I vape only 36mg)
I have not had literally one minute w/o a cig in my hand, my mouth, or both,
When I sleep, I fall asleep w/ one in my hand, SWEAR,
when I awake, I do not bother looking for the one, that MAY have fallen into the sheets, I go to the night table, where there are several, waiting for me,

For some reason with analogs I can do that, however with vaping I am constantly on the stick. My non-smoking friends think I am vaping a lot more than with analogs.

yes...this is because there is no lingering satisfaction effect with an e-cig as there is with an analog smoke. E-cigs are mostly satisfying only when inhaling the vapor, and once thats done its gone and leaves you with an empty feeling until you pick it up again. So you pick it up alot sooner and more often than a real ciggy. This i think is VERY dangerous and should be avoided no matter what the nic level is because for obvious reasons it IS a drug! (unless maybe its zero nic, which i think still has traces of nic in it anyway).

If you are vaping that sweet candy flavored liquid/carts you might want to consider stopping that and trying to switch to the very strongest flavored tobacco you can find...something that will leave you with a bitter/ashtray type feeling in your throat after you put it down so that will help you stay away longer.

It takes some willpower to keeping your vaping at a level that matched what your analog habbit was...after 10 days im still working at it and still smoking 2-3 analogs per day when im desperate...but i dont let myself vape constantly...instead i try very hard to keep it the same level as my analog habbit which used to be 20-25 cigs/day (8 puffs per cig on an analog 100...and it burned for 8 minutes). So for vaping ill take 10 good solid drags over a 10 minute period and put it down for as long as i can go...if i can go 45 minutes or longer great...but ill force myself to stay away for AT LEAST 30 minutes...so over a period of an entire day ill end up with about 25 ecigs worth of vaping averaging about 1.5 cigs per hour or about 1 cig every 45 minutes on average.

...and i still miss analogs and wish i could smoke more than my current 2-3/day...for me, its taking willpower...its not as easy as it seems to be for others here because im not getting sick of the taste of analogs yet...if anything i actually appreciate the taste of analogs more now since im having so much less of it (weird huh?). So much so, in fact, that for the first time in my life ive actually stopped smoking menthols and bought myself a pack of Lucky Strikes non-filtered and look forward to that twice a day treat, and i relish in it. Im just not mentally ready to give it up 100% yet. Im 90% there at least.

I'm confident though, that ill be able to eliminate all analogs with some more time....and once that happens ill be cutting back to a low nic vape. Once ive been off analogs for awhile and my body adjusts to very low nic amounts i wont need to vape anymore and ill look forward to getting this crap out of my life forever.

I'm still experimenting but enjoyed yesterday's pattern - penstyle zero nic all day except for one low cart near midday. Same for rest of the day - zero nic loads of vapour then about 6 drops of coffee 18mg (4.5 mg in total) taken at intervals during the evening on the DSE 901. This is a fun holiday pattern but will have to change radically when I go back to work.

Think that is about 5-6mg for the whole day, nic content of about ten of the 40 ciggies I was having before vaping. No feeling of deprivation at all.
For me a lot of it is about playing with the vapour. This could be why my browser opens on Popocatepetl, live webcam. Never the same image twice... ;)

Seems appropriate to post this here. I have found that if I put 1 drop on the cart and smoke for 5-6 hits that seems to satisfy me, for a little time anyway. I get a fresh hit every time and seem to waste less juice. May not work for you but seems to for me. Plus I just realized I may NOT get more juice before I run out. I am learning though and have 3 bottles on order, hope shipping is fast.

I do the same thing. I vape 0 nic on my 801 almost exclusively. When I get a little edgy or crave an analog, I fire up the 510 with 12mg or 16mg and vape like I was smoking an analog, 15/20 puffs. Then put it down. A little while later I'll start up with the 801 again.

This seems to work quite nicely, doesn't it? However when I 'm back at work I may need to use the spikes for the rare break times and the zero nic for the evenings... well we'll see...
