I think that it's safe to say that many smokers of analog cigs have bad breath, for obvious reasons.

But what about from vaping?

I've only been doing this for around a month, and it's kind of hard for me to notice my own breath, but I obviously don't smell like an ashtray anymore.

Does a vaper's breath smell like the flavor that they're vaping all day, or would you say that vaping has little or no affect on a person's breath?

I realize that something like this varies from person to person, but I'm just asking in a general sort of way, for the average person.

Does vaping menthol give you better breath, like if somebody ate a lifesavers or a tic tac?

Vaping does effect breath smell or can anyway. Because it drys out your mouth (using your moisture to produce vapor) this can cause halitosis. I do not believe the liquid smell stays on your breath however. Some ways to combat the dry mouth thing is to , of course stay well hydrated, use biotene dry mouth tooth paste, and rinse, and I love to suck on hard (cotton mouth) candies in fruity flavors.

I've begun drinking more water since I began vaping, and that's a good thing for me, since I didn't drink that much water before, and vaping sort of forces me to drink more.

I can see how dry mouth which you mentioned is something that somebody would want to avoid.

Thanks for the reply!

Drinking more water can only be a good thing, that's how I came about making my thread on here, What do you drink and vape because I naturally grab a drink while I vape, then found different drinks enhanced the flavour of the juice and so it began..Now Im always trying different drinks with different juices, just adds to the fun..Also this way, it doesn't really affect my breath..

The flavors can linger around and it tends to dry your mouth out when you don't hydrate enough. General hygiene and just drinking enough takes care of that, though.

My GF smells the nicotine. If you smell a nic base you know what I mean. She doesn't like it at all. It goes away after a few minutes or so and it's nowhere near as bad as smoker's breath.
