Well, I'm new to the whole pv/e-cig thing and I've never actually tried one(should receive 510 in mail tomorrow) so please excuse my ignorance.
I've been researching the e-cig phenomenon for the past week, I've read and watched(on youtube) countless of testimonials from people who were long time smokers who claim that they've started smoking pv's and never looked back to smoking analogs with pretty much no problem at all.
I have also read about people(from posts in this forum) who claim that the switch over from analogs to PV isn't easy, some people are even saying that it took them as long as three weeks before the urge to smoke analogs went away.
Three weeks? This is confusing to me because if it actually takes that long before urges for analogs go away then whats the point? I've made it three weeks without a cig in the past and at that point I would consider myself over the hump and pretty much a non-smoker because the physical cravings are over with by then.
Now I'm reading about people "falling off the wagon" and going back to analogs after months of being smoke free. ?
I was under the impression that vaping is basically the same as smoking minus all the negative physical side effects. I understand that analogs contain other chemicals besides nicotine that might also be addictive, but if it takes as long to kick the habit of these "other" chemicals as it does to kick the habit of nicotine then what is the point?
