Ok, I am a 50 a day man and I am starting to believe the rumours that tobacco smoke may be harmful to your health.

So truthfully, how easy did members find it to switch to vaping? Was it a piece of cake? Did u need will power? Do you still smoke real ones from time to time? Do some of u prefer vaping to normal smoking? What werethe initial stumbling blocks?

Finally, is my screwdriver obselete now or still right up there with the best?

Thanks

Jimmy

40+ a day for over 40 years. Never touched another one after my first pull on my e-cig. Over 2 months now. Problem is, I still have 27 packs of analogs in the dresser drawer.

For me its been almost miraculous.
I was smoking ~30 cigarettes a day. I've smoked about 20 (mostly the first week) in the 2 1/2 weeks since I started vaping. It has been virtually effortless, I can't believe it.
At this point I don't limit myself in any way. I vape in the house and as much as I want. Eventually I'll cut down and maybe even quit vaping, maybe not. The miracle is that I really am not struggling to not smoke cigarettes, and that's all that matters to me right now.

I have found its the only way out of countless attempts that I was actually able to temporarily quit without being miserable but my equipment wasnt doing well or I didnt really know what I was doing one of the two but, I have my Dura-C now and its much easier, I just cant run out of battery life while out and about or Im doomed to pick up an analog. I will say this though, when i did temporarily quit, coming back to analog cigs tasted horrible at first and you get your sense of smell back shortly after quitting and its amazing how bad that smoke smells and how bad you and your clothes smell

Very easy I went form 1 ½ packs a day down to three over night with 16mg e liquid then went up to 36 and stopped smoking now I’m cutting back down on the nicotine to 24mg and 16mg next order will be 11mg then 8 and so on
Robert

Exactly like that for me and same amount. But i go back and forth between 18mg and around 24 and 36mg here and there when needed... i started out with 16mg and it was not till I made the jump to 36mg... that I was able to stop the analogs.. Now i am using 18mg more than not... and will work down when I feel I can.

Problem is, I still have 27 packs of analogs in the dresser drawer.

I had two cartons.. I gave them to my mother last week. I have no use for them now:) Vaping didn't work for her.. Well... she barely tried... but I wasn't going to push it... maybe at some point she will..

it was a pice of p***s ... i wants even thinking about giving up smoking .. i googled " cigarettes" trying to find asite were i could buy cheap cigs ... stumbled across the electric ones on the begining of febuary and havent smoked since ..... well saves me buying 40 a day i suppose
lol this is exactly what happened to me. After the cigarette tax in Oregon went through I decided to look online for cheap smokes. I stumbled upon Smoking Everywhere's site I think it was, and then got discouraged by the prices. Somehow I wound up here on the forums and decided to buy a M401 after watching Spikey's video. I was a bout a half pack to full pack a day smoker, and I started using 24mg liquid from TW. I had my last cigarette the night after getting my M401. I didn't even think I would quit. I just wanted to be able to smoke in the house and cut back on analogs. I feel much healthier even after 10 days. I also feel really good about introducing PV's to all my friends who smoke, and customers at work who have been really open minded and have gotten their own PVs from various places. I guess I'm just a good salesman even though I'm encouraging people not to buy cigarettes at my store which is the main staple of the business besides beer. :p

For those that have quit and still have analogs around... should we organize a day where we send off the packs of analogs to the FDA? Maybe a list as well on how much x amount of cigarettes does to a body that have been avoided.

Just had to buy a new carton waiting on my shipment, hoping to have a good stock left that I can get rid of when it gets here... crossing fingers.

That girl (amongst many others) has saved so many lives. It's something to take note of.

This is awesome, ok - u guys have inspired me, Sunday night I will smoke my last analogue and give this a real go!

Thanks dudes!

Jimmy

Another thing that makes this different from the countless other times that I've "quit" is that if I do smoke a cigarette, it's not the end of quitting. In the past, If I had one cigarette it was all over and I'd be smoking at my regular pace in no time. I smoked one a couple of days ago, just had the urge. I haven't had one since because I can go right on vaping and eliminate the urge.

Best of luck.
