I am very uneasy ordering from places that have no warrenty or have only a 14 day warrenty on parts but there are few places that offer much more. TW offers 28 days, VS offers 3-6 mo. Janty has 3-6 mo. but thats all I can think of.

How do you feel about this, and do you know of any other places that back their products?

Honestly most companies offer a couple days or a week or 2 but these PV are rather disposable items and I dont expect the atties to last very long. The batteries i expect to last a bit longer but they dont tend to get as much thrashing as atties anyway. As long as they stay cheaper than cigs I'm game :)
Fact is that is if supplier X went out of business tomorrow your warranty would mean squat anyway.

Warranty is very important to me and the company that I have used and continue to use for hardware purchases is SmokeTip. They offer a Lifetime warranty on batts and 90 day on all other hardware...ONLY drawback...they only offer the KR808D-1 so, yeah, I want a good warranty and they have stood behind it for me a couple of times now.

I agree, especially with a lot of very new companies, including shipping costs/risks

I too agree. But if the company has been around for over a year or two and only costs a couple bucks more for the product..well, then IF I only ever use it once or twice it was worth it, to me.

I also cant see much of a warrnty on an e cig item.... attys are really only made to last a few months... they are tiny heating devices that get dirty and clogged... batteries are only made to charge a few hundred times.... if someone was offering a huge warrnty like lifetime i would be wondering why... if you pay 95 dollars for a e cig kit.. and in the real scheme of things the batteries only cost five dollars and the atty only costs five dollars... you are talking about nine complete cigs for the price of one..... yes.. you may be replacing it with ones you wait weeks for if it goes out... but is it as good of a ecig as you want to begin with.. ... that e cig on the site that had a lifetime wrnty... was not the greatest e cig to begin with compared to a 35 dollar 510 there was no comparison.... i would rather vape on something thats making me happy then try to go with something that will last for years but isnt really what i want or need.

Sassy, I'm not trying to be a jerk here but I feel I gotta point out a couple things about your post.
First, where can you get a battery for $5.00? Second, the kr808D-1 IS as good as the 510. Many people prefer it to the 510.
Just sayin'....

Guarantees aren't very important to me, but then I have had pretty good luck with just about everything I've bought. Most of my equipment has come from China with a 6 month guarantee and I have only used it once.

Looking at it from the supplier's side, I am not at all surprised when a company offers only a limited guarantee or none at all. Ecigs are relatively cheap commodity items with a high potential for misuse or warranty abuse. A supplier would have a hard time telling the difference between a day old and a 6 month old battery or an atty that has been treated properly or regularly overheated and burnt dry. I commend companies that offer a warranty, but understand why they would not.

i have to concur, with the warranty being a non issue. the company i started with was SmartSmoke. they give a 30 day warranty on all hardware as long as u buy a $35 bottle of their juice every 30 days, and don't use any other juice in "their" equipment. unless u r burning through attys or having batty trouble it is not cost effective to keep the warranty up to date. even if i use a fresh atty every week and a new batty every 2 weeks, the cost is still considerably less than the cost of a months worth of analogs($85-90). at most i spend $45 a month, with attys battys and juices. after all saving money was one of the primary reasons i switched in the first place.

The company I buy from has the standard 14 day warranty, but the bonus is that you can return it for any reason at all within the 14 days. So if you want to try a kind of e-cig you've never used before you can order it and if you don't like it you can return it for an immediate refund. I've only received great products and never wanted or needed to return anything. I'm still using the same battery and atomizer I bought 6 months ago (though I did just order another set since they're starting to get warm with frequent use and I've been told this is much longer than the normal lifetime).

If you buy a quality product from a trustworthy company, most likely you'll never have to use the warranty and if the company is good they should back their product.

I do agree with the statements above - these things aren't meant to last forever and I wouldn't trust anyone that says they will. In most cases, you shouldn't need to spend more than $50 for a quality starter kit.

After my first e-cig experience, I'd have to say I want at least a couple week warranty. My first was kit was purchased at a truckstop, an NJoy Pro Express kit. After 3 days it stopped working and they wouldn't do a thing, $60.00 down the tubes and lesson learned.

At minimum would at least expect things to work a couple of weeks. I agree atties, etc are cheap enough but 60 bucks and can't use it, to me isn't a good thing.
