After you've made enough posts to post elsewhere you could always put the 501 up for sale on here. I've seen several posts where people get rid of what they no longer use or juices they bought and didn't like etc.
lol ok sorry ..8 dollars... for a 510 batt. but notice they are going down in price too. The bottom line is that this stuff is very cheap and so grnty is not really important unless it dont work past the first 30 days... i am totally happy with a 30 day warnty on a 10 dollar item
Oh I agree about the warrantee not being an issue. I just use good suppliers and all the ones I use will cover a DOA no prob. After spending $250.00 a month on tobacco cigs there's quite a bit of wiggle room with the price of this stuff.
really i think most of us would do the same thing.. if it didnt work outta the box we would contact the company we bought it from and ask them if they would replace it.. if they didnt.. we would not use that company again.. and would tell all our friends.. in here .... that can make a big diffrence on how much good word of mouth customers a company gets. happy customers bring in good business. ECF is a great place to share stuff just like this to make sure other people know a good deal or a bad one!
On the one hand, not very important. Because I just don't bother to return such inexpensive items.
On the other hand, I like to see a significant warranty ... simply as an indication that the seller has confidence in their product. Whether I'd be likely to take advantage of the warranty, or not.
I haven't gotten anything with a warranty yet. I am new to all of this. Wish they had a buy back though, because my husband dislikes his 501 and wants a 902 like mine, and it's been less then a month.
I use the Smoketip because it has a lifetime warranty on their batteries, which are shorty KR808d-1. They have 280mah, compared to other kr808d-1 shorties. Yup, when your battery dies, mail it back and they'll send you a new one. Oh yes, they have free shipping and it's quick. I'm not affliated with them and I started with the Premium Brand e cig, which I liked. Just wanted that warranty.
I understand why people want warranties - a 14 day one works fine for me - lifetime warranties worry me tbh - if the supplier goes out of business there goes your warranty and so much for 'lifetime'. They really don't mean much past a certain amount of time, I stick with trusted suppliers - so I agree with Mist.
I don't care about a warranty on disposable items like batteries, atty's, and cartomizers. However, if I am buying a fairly expensive mod then I expect the company to stand behind there work. The best warranty I have seen is vapormoon.com who has a 5 year warranty on the saber touch. I might, however, feel differently if I had ever gotten a bad device and the company would not replace it. I got a battery that was DOA once and the vendor sent me a new one the same day I called and didn't even ask for the DOA one back.
Not very.. Its and electrical component, though, and DOA is important. A certain percentage of these things are just not gonna work right out of the box or fail w/in the first few hours. In those cases, i want a replacment.
After that.. If it dies, i just counter that to the 300-400 i was spending on analogs and say, hey, its still cheap at twice the price..
I have crippling arthritis - thus the act of re-wrapping and going to the post office is frankly not worth it unless the item is over $100, so a warranty on a low price item is irrelevant to me. Even with higher price items I have often found the time and effort trying to get some companies to honor their warranties (especially for high end electronics when I sent a great deal extra to even get warranted) has made me decide never to pay extra for a warrantie again in my life.
I have been ordering frm greenhouseone.com they offer a year warrenty on everything and they are cheaper than most places except for shipping (15 dollars). But I ordered enough stuff that it was still worth the 15 in shipping. It took exactly 7 days to get here (which I thought was pretty fast!).
Got any ego kit with 30 day warranty - two weeks and one battery died and was replaced. Just before the 30 days were up, one of my attys died, it to was replaced. The only cost was to mail them back. Would I like a longer warranty, yes but that's not going to stop me from buying more. And really, the only things I would expect a long warranty on is the chargers and the carts = plastic last forever.
